Hello all,

A new Season is upon us in iRacing so lets kick it off right, in Canada where only good things happen :)

Tonight, Blancpain Sprint Series visits fabulous Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal Canada.

Hope to see you all there!

Practice Session starts at 8 PM EST (ish) spanning 1 hour and 40 minutes commencing with our 20 minute, inverse grid, Qualify Race.

Main Race starts at approx 10:20 PM EST with 10 minute warmup and 50 minute Race. Grid positions carry over from Qualify Race Results. One Pit Stop required within 5 minute Pit Window at the 25 - 30 minute mark to take on tires only.

I'll be on and I'll be rusty as well! Perfect place to die in a fiery crash against a wall!

I can do the practice and qualify race just have to back out 10 minutes early from the main race because reasons. Unless I go riding tonight then you boys have fun!

We could probably push the race forward with enough time for you to take care of your business if it's only ten-fifteen minutes.

If we could launch the main race at 10 that would work best for me, No big deal if we can't I'll still be having a blast racing anyway. Always a good time beating Noel ;)

Even more forwards? We're already starting about an hour later than normal I think :p
lol we are not starting an hour later than usual you silly Hobbit.

You have to remember, I'm on the West Coast of Canada (Vancouver BC, PST) and quite literally have to race home through Rush hour to get here for this time-frame. All I need is one train, or one off ramp to back up and my travel time can fluctuate up to 15 minutes, sometimes more.

I've picked 5 EST as it's a time I can always make; an hour earlier and I cannot make it, ever (unless I have a day off, decide to play hookie, or something else).

The aim is to start at 7:30 PM EST whenever possible but I can't publish that as our start time given it's not a constant that can be guaranteed.

Oh I thought forwards meant forwards in time, this is better then :p

I completely understand Duke, and I didn't mean to sound like I was complaining. The difference in time I was implying is because of the almost 2-hour practice session we have before the qualify race.

Before, we often started this practice earlier or had less of it. Starting the full practice session at 8 will mean the entire event will last longer than often during testing but such a long practice session is maybe not a bad idea while everyone is here anyway (as a type of Practice Pals).

Lastly, I was already tired earlier so I took an evening nap just now :)

I thought the results of the qualify race yesterday showed 0 points for everyone but when I look in the season it counted as a normal race, with 43 points for the winner. It's not supposed to be like that right?

Awesome video Davey. I'm thinking I need to turn that into another league video, like the Sebring vid. And that's not impatience. That's opportune!
