To join:
You'll need to login to join via Steam and Racenet, but once you've joined, you can use in-game menus and such to play / race. Follow link above to the league page and join from there.

When to Race:
Since these are not head-to-head races (Rallycross is set to be added in a few months, per Codemasters) you can race stages when it is convenient for you, not when everyone else is also online. Each event has a set time limit (which we can determine as necessary). So for example, the first event might span from now until sunday. So you have until Sunday to finish all of those stages. The time frame is noted on the league page.

Details:
A League consists of a season that spans multiple events. An event can consist of multiple stages, which is just a single point-to-point run. All the times for each stage are added together, and at the end of the event (when all stages are ran) points are awarded.

So after each event you're awarded points based on where you finished for that event, and at the end of the season, the driver with the most points is the winner.

There are no restarts in this league, so drive careful!

Rules:
At the moment, it is impossible to force certain rules upon drivers. We can (and have) eliminated restarts, but forcing additional handling or camera rules is not possible. So we are using the honor system currently, to drive in forced head cam, no HUD, with all assists off (TC, etc). If you want to drive with one of these, or a different camera view, we can impose a penalty system to even out the field. For now though, stick to rules above.

I think the regular users will be very interested in seeing this. It had quite a quiet release but it is seriously picking up a lot of steam (no pun intended).

But awesome. Hopefully we can get this league to grow as well. This title as a whole has amazing potential.

I've got a couple of hours free tomorrow (hurrah!) so I'm going to dust off the wheel and pedals and have a good crack at it. It's a good format for this community as it doesn't matter what time zone you are in everyone can be a part of it

Welcome Injen! Nice time you put up for the first event, btw. Setting the bar pretty high... I thought my run was pretty decent.

I'd say that camera view is alright for now... so don't worry about it. I've heard plenty of complaints about the cockpit view, and FOV isn't set up properly yet, etc. So those two views are fine atm.

i played Shift 2 long enough. before him it was dirt 2, CCMR4 (5-10 years ago). Dirt rally is very specific in feelings and driving of the cars, like a skating on ice
as I understand, the advanced settings for multiplayer developer present only in the month of August.

Also, I've not messed around with the HUD settings, I'd imagine you have the Tach and such turned on. That isn't a big deal, but I hope the rest is disabled, as I'd definitely consider the rest as an unfair advantage (pace note signs, rally stage progress, etc)

I've got every hud aspect disabled and play through full cockpit view (for better or for worse). The only adjustments I've made is to sound output as I need to hear the co-driver better without any on screen visual cues.

You've been approved! You should be able to go to the leagues section in-game now.

And I run the same exact way. Seems to codriver is just naturally quiet, so yeah I had to adjust the other volumes so I could hear him better. Still not the easiest sometimes.

You're British so nobody expects you to keep the car on the road. You chaps drive on the wrong side of the road anyway so I can only imagine the chaos when there's only one side to choose from lol.

Don't forget- Sunday (I think 4pm eastern) is when the first event ends. LittleP was there a reason you didn't finish the last stage?

I've tried all settings and none help the co-driver which is why I've had to modify them ingame.

Of course I'm using onboard sound and not using a headset which I'd wager it comes out clearer on.
