I must admit, the hardest thing for me at the moment is to listen to the co-driver while concentrating on the driving too. ...The rest I do on visual clues

yeah, that really hard. try set "co-driver calls: earlier" for take a little bit more time before manevuer. at night to listen co-driver is vitally important especially when weather is rain or snow, u cant see anything so far enough to have time to react.

Awesome! Don't be afraid to join up now. Trust me it is FAR from competitive for anyone just yet. You can still sit out this test season though if you want. The next season is set to start early next week and you can run the races at any point between when it starts and the next 1-2 weeks.

awesome! I admit, a little scared perform at asphalt pavement after Monte Carlo. I have the worst results on such surfaces (can not understand what the problem is). Nevertheless, I will wait for a new event from the Codemasters ^^.

Just hop in the league right away. I barely had any practice either, and drove most of the stages for the first time. It's for fun anyway!

how many stages will be in next season?

We are going to try out a 16 stage, 1-event season. This way people can run as many stages as they want through the 2-week long season, as convenient. (AKA not have to wait for the next event to begin.

And of course there will be service areas every 2 stages. Keep in mind that a 1-event season will mean your score is based off of your overall time, not off points earned through multiple events.

I'll be completing this later, I've done two stages so far. It's a great combo Daunt I'm really enjoying it! I'll be aiming for your time, I don't think I'll get anywhere near Injen's lol he's already a minute ahead :icon_eek:

I've got a logitech driving force GT, and I was struggling with having the handbrake assigned to a button, as it was awkward on anything other than wheel at centre, which in this game it never is lol

So I have assigned it to the sequential shifter, so when I pull on the shifter it acts as the handbrake, so much fun, and I can slide the cars around so much better now

LOL nice. I actually have it assigned to the clutch pedal and it works real well. I tried a button but the wheel is just too all over the place.

you have good chance for it. I lost more than 1 minute on stage 5 due to a broken wheel

BROKEN WHEEL! I am applying a 5 minute penalty for that!

Jk. I knew I made up some time on the last stage, but I still did an unintended 360 that slowed me up too much. Can't wait until they fix resets. And as I said, hopefully add an ability to fix certain things like changing tires mid-stage.

I'll finish this tonight or tomorrow, what's up with resets? I had one so far and noticed I didn't get the normal countdown etc.

The way it is currently is very exploitable. The countdown itself isn't a bad idea but I'm certain areas, like going too far off, or if you are about to hit the crowd, you'll get an insta-reset. You can also bypass the count down by pausing the game and hitting reset. Both of these set you in the center of the course with no delay. I think it's even possible to hit reset mid-roll or while the car is still in motion, potentially saving you from further damage.
