The end of this weekend marks the end of our second season. What a fun group of cars...

Anyway, starting the discussion on our next season. I think just about everyone will want to try out Pike's Peak. I think it will be a short season (there are only a few options stage wise) so maybe a week long.

I'm curious to know if everyone liked how it was set up this season, with 1 event with a lot of stages, or you'd like it more with multiple events (and point scoring across them, etc)

Personally I don't want to try out pike's peak in a league yet XD. No pace notes, so it needs learning the track...

As for the last league, one thing I didn't like was the constant switching between country/environment. Driving behaviour is so different between asphalt, gravel and forest roads, so I found myself constantly in need to switch driving style with all the stages mixed up like they were, and for me it takes time to get adapted to the different road conditions/engine performance etc, so it's like every 2 stages I spend half a stage settling in for the new conditions.

So personally I would rather see a leage in single coubntry, or at least the stages within the leage grouped per country, instead of wales/greece/monaco/wales/greece/monaco/wales/greece/monaco if you get my drift.

Thoroughly enjoying the leage though, just wish I had more time to dedicate to all games I currently play...

I'm not sure what you mean Shilka, because the season was split into 4 stages of 4 locations - 16 total. So it went first 4 stages were Monaco, then 4 at Wales, then 4 at Greece, then another 4 at Monaco. There was no flipping back and forth, no way would that fly either.

We could add a few more stages and less country changes... so 24 stages total, 8 at one, 8 at the next, and then 8 at the next (obviously still one after another, not flipping between)

This is what I ment actually, 4 locations in 1 event...(well, 3 locations with one of those twice seperately), to me that's already flipping back and forth XD

It's just my personal preference that I'd rather do 12 stages in one country as an event then 3 x 4 stages in different countries in a single event. Then I'd rather split into smaller events. That's just my personal preference though, and simply my reply to your question about the setup of the previous/current event

And if after me 3 other people reply that they like how it switches country after a couple of stages, then by all means stick with it! There's more then just my opinion!

It's just that it always takes me a while to get accustomed to driving in another country, but that's most likely due to my lack of skill. (That's why I named my twitch stream; "First Person View, No Assists, No Talent" :lol: )

So it sounds like your issue moreso is with the number of stages before we switch locations, not necessarily with longer 1-event seasons, which I can understand.

I will make our visits longer... at least 6-8 stages. I think this next season will (unfortunetly for you) be a quick fun-centered hillclimb season unless others also feel the same... but it won't be very long.

Truthfully thus far I've only ran two random events and gotten no where really. Probably 10 turns max... I've been pretty busy and haven't been able to play a lot but still, you're not the only one who hasn't messed around in it haha. I fear for all those innocent bystanders on the roadside I am going to run over.

I vote for multiple events. For exmple, season within one month: 1 event of 7-8 stages of 1 country for one of week x4. In total wee have 28-32 stages within a month and scoreboard sytem.
I think to early for Hill Limbs for include to current league. And its a very specifical racing, I mean, let be "rally for rally" and "Pikes Peak - for Pikes Peak". So wee could create new league and start test season especially for that, but, as I know, one accaunt can create only one league.

I'm working on inviting new players into the steam group and B2O league. Soon the number of participants will exceed 200 people, 20% of them will participate in the league, according to the observations. I needed moderator to the group, because I'm not good in English =)

I think that might be the consensus - to hold off on hillclimb for the moment so we might do that. That is a good suggestion though for setting up seasons like that. I think everyone would be happy if it was laid out that way.

Woo! First of all, I'd like to thank all of my fans, my friends and family, for helping me get here...

No but really, the 80's cars are amazing, it finally clicked with me, driving those cars. On to Group B! Then... group A and 2010s! I know everyone is excited for the more modern cars, but the build up will be worth it.
