I thought you couldn't use the upgrades, same reason as the career engineers? Figured they were defaults.

Hello, everyone!

Injen invited me to join your league, so I've found my ID/Psw (as I registered here several months ago, probably because of Project CARS) and now I'm here.

I play fair, use bonnet camera, all assists and HUD off. As for race results, I think it is quite nice, and I reach Top Tier in online events, but I'm not a hardcore player who sets worldwide records, takes all points and so on) For example, Injen is always faster than me. Maybe I just need more hours to play but this is not my target, I just enjoy this game because it makes me feel like i play racing games in my early years. Codemasters have made a very nice game, probably the perfect one.

And you'd probably know better than I. But in the season screen, it indicates "owned vehicles" is disabled. I'd guess that means no upgrades but who really knows.

im not sure, but seems the "own vehicles" is mean that player can took a part only at his own vehicles. if it disabled - we can choose (or rent) any vehicles. it doesent matter have they upgrades or not. so. if u have own vehicle u can drive in any case, regardless of the selected setting. if u dont - u can drive on stock car (if option disable) or dont took a part in event\season (if enable).

not the most successful option...

I'm applying for the league now. Can't remember which name it will be under for Racenet.

Since I've acquired my wheel setup, I have been playing strictly in headcam with no call signs. Started playing with no assists on from the start. I despise restarting.

Thank you!

So wales can burn in hell. Had to limp the stupid thing home through all but one stage I think. So hopefully next week will go better :(

I also really need to warm up some. I went from the L79 in iracing straight into the league race and it took me the entire first stage to adjust. Then night happened and I was just fucked. Then rain at night happened and I got 2 flats in that stage... one happened after sliding around a hairpin.

Yea, I didn't do so great either. A couple punctures, 2 barrel rolls, some offs in the woods, and a head-on into an embankment because I fumble fucked my way to the wiper button a little late and couldn't see. Needless to say, I'm still getting comfortable with the wheel. Oh, and Wales is a bastad but thats what I love about it! lol

Well I rage quit twice and apparently when you ALT-F4 it doesn't count your attempt so I guess you can ignore me in the standings. I was dumb enough to try to league race first thing in the morning with no warmup, then kept driving while getting frustrated and trying to recover time.

If it makes anyone feel better I had to drive the second half of the last stage with my right rear on the rim on the final attempt.

Trust me Quadro it's been a frustrating rally thus far for me too. I'm new to Group A, have a car that's not upgraded and just can't control it right.

As for set ups, that depends on Codemasters. As I explained before, they added lot of new options for leagues but their implementation is buggy / downright bad and you cannot access those new options.

Per CM Forums:
There is no way to set the new league settings when creating an event. The way it is set up now means drivers cannot setup the car at service areas as there is no way to turn "Vehicle Tuning" on.

League settings that do not have a means of selecting them are:
Owned Vehicles
Career Engineers
Vehicle Tuning

So as you can see it SEEMS like they've added the ability to change it but didn't code in the actual checkbox or whatever on the site to set the league up with it. Would be a simple fix, and I'd IMAGINE it would be done in 2 weeks when this season comes to a close.

i hope it wiil not be Finland or we all can to say goodbye suspension after even first stage, hah

I'm going to carve some time out to do this tonight, although I must say in advance it was my last day working until the new year and I AM CELEBRATING! I will have had at least half a litre of Honey Jack Daniels before I start at around 10pm tonight so if I make it to the end the right way up and not on fire I'm counting that as a personal victory ;)
