I think the Impreza's suspension is better suited for Finland's bumps and jumps than the other car.

Injen mentioned in an earlier post that the scubaroo's have a higher ride height which would attribute to taking the jumps and junk better.

I'm going to be different and use the Lancia

Hmm. Ok, well, that could have gone.... better.

1st Stage - Going ok, Lancia is light so seems to be flying a lot, taking a beating on the landings. Picked up a puncture on the front left near the end of the stage, completed the last 30 secs of the stage on the rim as I didn;t want to lose 1:30 repairing it so close to the end.

2nd Stage - Trying to make up time, took a jump a bit too fast and picked up a puncture on the rear right at the beginning of the stage. With a long way to go I repaired it losing 1:30 in th eprocess. Trying to make up time I then picked up another puncture and lost my right rear rim for the last minute or so of the stage. Disaster. After using all the repair time I could only manage to repair my suspension to 80% (!) with a lot of other components suffering too.

Stage 3 - Puncture repaired half way through the stage. Another 1:30 lost. Considering filing an official protest to the tyre manufactures.

Stage 4 - Puncture repaired at the beginning of the stage, another 1:30 lost.

Result - I hate Finland, Finland hates me.

On to the next one!

I knew I should've stuck with my go to car (Subaru). Damn, little P, you sound like me a couple weeks ago. I was starting to think spectators we're throwing nails on the stage I was getting so many damn punctures. I picked up a puncture at the yellow house jump but thats the only jump I've ever had that happen on.

Germany is done. i have false start and little mistake at last stage, but it was easy rally event.

Ugh I am nervous about Germany. AWD cars on tarmac never end well for me.

Just finished it, did pretty poor the first two stages, maybe because I was learning the Subaru, did okay last 2 stages.

I haven't tried the Lancia before but from the sounds of it, the Ford might be one of the best handling cars in Group A. The Subaru in comparison feels very hard to correct a turn with, as in it's very easy to over-correct a loose tail. However I still think the Subaru is a little OP when it comes to stage times

Sorry I've been out of it. Was wayyy too busy the past two weeks to enjoy some quality rally time. Looks like it's been quite interesting!

Been so busy with license grinding on iRacing I forgot about my beloved rally! Oh well, looks like me and Daunt get to battle it out point wise. See y'all in Sveden yah!

wow, i have fantastic finish in Sweden. Nikey, Quadro and me tightly competed for the podium. looks like we all have a lot mistakes =) how about other members?
