Can you start using your official seal whenever you close a thread? Thank you.

The tab for alerts, as well as the inbox tab, are difficult to read with white text over a light background:

So excited for the new site.

I'd also like to point out a small issue - not really an issue just a matter of preference. I dislike that it's difficult to see where posts begin and end - for example, when somone's post ends and the next begins. In the theme, you can barely see, but there's a black line that runs across the bottom of the post. Well since the theme is dark - it's hard to see. I'd like to see that as maybe a dark gray or something along those lines:

Excuse the crudity of my example (model)... on the left is how it is now. The right is how I suggested it. A lot clearer to differentiate between posts.

Ya they've not been worked on yet.

I'm not terribly sure what color schema to use for them, the Breadcrumb or the Forum Category/Cat Descriptions?

Rest assured the styling will be overhauled in these areas, I'm just trying to decide what I'd like them to look like.

Point taken and a simple change to implement.

If you mean clicking on "Your Account" in the Breadcrumb (light blue nav just below main navigation bar, it works fine for me.
Yes i do, i kinda imagine it has something to do with Administrative permissions.
I do have Moderator access as i can see the "Mod" control panel.
Not sure if anyone else can see that tho.

Not sure what permissions I have. I thought I might have mod access but I am not sure how to confirm. I have no issues accessing my profile, etc.

Unfortunately there's little I can do about permissions on the new site right now.

XenForo handles some permissions the same but close to 50% are handled completely different to the way vBulletin handles them.

I can adjust both of your permissions tonight and see if that takes care of any lingering issues.

Aside from that we'll have to wait until we're up and running on the new site because the entire permission system will require a complete overhaul which we'll be tackling from a top down approach as follows:

  • Full member privilege reset: everyone is reset to "Member" status with no additional privileges outside of Site Admin.
  • Administration Team privileges defined.
  • SuperMod Team privileges defined.
  • Promoter Team privileges defined.
  • Moderator Team privileges defined.
  • TS SA Team privileges defined.
  • Core Membership privileges re-defined.
The permission system will be my top priority as well as correcting major bugs.

I expect the entire process to take a week or two.

Would it be wise to have a meeting among the admins before the permissions get tackled (anything lower than Site admin that is)

Sure, I'm good Saturday.

Only if you think it's needed and of help to you. If you already have an idea how to set it up i'd rather let you work your magic like you've already did before.

I myself don't have any input to be honest, current permissions seem to work as intended anyway.

Unless we're talking about overhauling the current permission suite then I'm ok to tackle it.

I'm also fully expecting to make a complete mess of it in the process given the differences between vB and Xen.

My guess is I can get the main permissions working but will need to tweak them moving forward.

Not to mention I have no idea how it will tie into the Rank or Promotion System.

I'm guessing you're working on permissions at the moment, but here is what's happening when I log in and click the "Alerts" tab.

No I haven't done any permissions work because any work I do will be wasted right now.

The permission system isn't something I can actually start working on until such time as we've moved completely as all changes will be lost when I import a more current (and cleaner) version of this sites forum database.

Just an update to what Kyle commented on much earlier about confusion over which forum is live.

Thanks for this comment Kyle because it not only includes Members and Guests but bots as well.

If we have 2 instances of the same content it will be considered duplicate and will plummet harm our placement in the Search Engines I'm guessing rather drastically.

For this reason I will likely not announce when we're on the new site because that's just too difficult to call right now. Instead, I'll place a permanent 301 re-direct via .htaccess which will just direct all traffic to the new site once ready.

Until such time the test site is invisible to the bots and not being submitted to the Search Engines.

Duke you said you'll do another / one last sync or whatever you call it? So any new threads etc between the last one and before we move will be migrated as well, correct?

Yup.

Everything posted up to the forums being taken offline this upcoming Saturday will be migrated to the new Forum.

We'll have to tackle this issue online together because it could be several things causing it.

As it is the site is currently set to not even display the sidebar on mobile devices so the fact it's not working is odd.

I'd be happy to help. What is odd is that appears to be the mobile version. Which can't be right.
