Well, I tried to make it but I was on a new job on the line this week and it completely kicked my ass. I'm going to try again next week.

I'm hoping we are having league this Thursday. I have book club, but I'd rather drive with you guys then do book club. What track will it be for this week? Monza?

What is the track for this week? Road Atlanta, Road America, Mid-Ohio, Summit Point?

This week we'll be running Sonoma Raceway Cup Configuration.

...assuming everyone has it, if not we can run Canadian Tire Motorsports Park or Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

I'm unsure what tracks everyone owns as, as far as I can tell, I'm the only person who's filled out @Skid_Marc_ track list.

If you're confused about how to fill out the "form". because it's not really a form, just right-click on the track name and type your name as a comment, if you own it. You don't need to mark the Gray (oval) or Green (free) tracks, just the Yellow (Road) and Blue (Popular Road) ones.

I have Sonoma, although I didn't see it on @Skid_Marc_'a track list. I don't think I've ever driven it though, so will be interesting (as always) :)

Fantastic race overall last night, and a really good turnout, thanks everyone!

I think Ulyse hitting the wall, from pole, gave Raffaelle a drive-thru for "Passing Before the Green", btw, which is HILARIOUS. To have that chaotic a start and still be the most clean the AI has been (only 3 AI off the lead lap) was pretty impressive.

Just FYI, in the Ferrari, the iRacing baseline setup fails tech at Nurburgring but there is a iRacing Nuburging sprint and a iRacing Nurburgring Endurance setup.

Thought I'd take another shot at getting paints working in your Sim while running League.

This time around I've included all paints and verified them as working in the .json file. For some reason Charles Weerts WRT BMW paint is garbled, I've no idea why or how to fix it so it's a known issue.

The attached file includes liveries and .json file. Maybe inclusion of on your computer may prompt the Sim to load all designated liveries.

Simply extract file with Winrar, then drag and drop 2023 GT World Challenge Europe - 2023 Mar 3 70 - 85 SKILL RNG Folder into your Documents/iRacing/airosters folder.

You can use the free version of Winrar without paying, just ignore the popup; I've been doing this for nearly 2 decades lol.

Hello all,

We're now deep in testing revival of Band of Others GT3 Sprint League; this time around including AI Drivers ensuring a full grid every race.

As prior, we're loosely emulating the real world Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe now with World Challenge Europe Drivers/Liveries, race against Teams such as WRT, Akkodis ASP, Iron Lynx and more.

League invites sent to @Anson Bennette, @Fromthenavy, @Deb, @Kinger, @Skid_Marc_, @Nejtun, and @Noodleguitar.

Should you wish to join in the fun, go to Leagues/Find a League and type Band of Others or 9396 (our League ID) and apply.

Some changes of note:
  1. One Session consisting of
    • 50 minute Practice
    • 10 minute Open Qualify
    • 60 minute Race
  2. Fixed Vehicle Setups
  3. Pit for Tires and Fuel
  4. Three fast repairs
Currently we're running two sessions weekly, every Friday night at 6 PM and 8 PM EST, with week 13 being a drop week.

Drivers should all be in Discord during the event. Not only is it good for race comms but also part of the fun of being in a Community Racing League.

Hope to see you on track!

Next Season we'll begin running races as League Seasons/Sessions to dial in scoring.

Some testing in scoring required as I'm unsure of whether iRacing is capable of handling custom scoring? Previously we turned to Sim Racing Hub (formerly danlisa) as it had more options to handle our custom scoring.

League invites sent, original post updated to reflect current League status.

Are you trying to put 100L into the baseline setup?
No, this is with 52L in the tank. It says the ride height at 51.1 mm is too low and Camber at -4 deg is yellow. It is like this without me making any changes to the baseline setup. The iracing nurburgring endurance set up has the same camber but the ride height is at 71 mm with 46 L of fuel. Not sure why there is so little fuel in an endurance setup. It has the same fuel as the sprint setup. That must be a mistake. I can get 101 L in the endurance setup and it doesn't fail tech.

Just FYI, I ran about 5 laps yesterday with the AI, although I have it set between 50 - 85%. I was on the 24Hr config, morning, with temperature at 70 degrees and using the iracing nurburgring endurance setup with full fuel. The best lap time was around 8:17 but primarily in the 8:20s. The significant thing though is only 4 drivers completed full laps, myself and 3 of the AI. The rest did not complete a lap to get a lap time in o_O
