Found out why I can't load the paints for my replay... because none of the teams match! I guess the replay pack I got from the post doesn't correspond to our session.

Can someone from our team zip up their paints folder and send it to me if you haven't cleared it out yet? Looks like Trading Paints was just working fine for me, but I have it set to clear out the paints, so it cleared them as soon as I closed out of the race.

Bedo,

Love the pictures!!! I know where I'll find my new desktop wallpaper. I am glad you got some before and after Lap 168, the last lap of my first stint. I was driving when the car hit the wall. o_O

As Deb said before, awesome job to everyone. It's been a little over 12 hours since I shut down the computer (it was on for 26+ hours) following the event over the weekend and I've had a some time to organize my thoughts.

First off I want to thank B2O for allowing me the opportunity to join the team. What a great experience for me on my first endurance race. Also special thanks to Deb, Jes, Ken and Bedo for the tips while watching my laps during my first stint.

Lowlight of the event happened on the last lap of my first stint (lap 168). I understand this is part of endurance racing but the competitive part of me felt bad for the team.

Highlights of the event happened during the last stint of Sunday morning.
  • I finally passed a car. It was an HPD on my final lap. I had only hoped that someone would have clipped the event from twitch. I won't say anything more than the fact that he followed me into the pits when I needed fuel. :)
  • I was spotting for Ken at 3:00am CDT when I told him that I needed to go to bed. I let out a big yawn and I remember his saying "Don't do that". As I signed off he was spotting for himself for stay awake. :)
Once again thanks to Marc (I found out he was a fellow Iowa driver on twitch) for connecting me with you guys. Looking forward to the upcoming events and weekly #practicepals

WOOOOOOOOOOO! What an event :D

These things are always fun but they seem to get better and better the more of them we do together!

Thanks to you all for taking part and giving up your weeks leading up to the event to get everything ready. it was a crazy rush when the new cars arrived to get prepared but we all managed (especially Ken for getting those paints done in time!).
Special thanks for my teammates in the HPD @Brainling @Luke @Zac_Sonic for keeping the car in one piece from start to finish so we could bring it home in 5th place!

Great times as always in B2O !
:D

This was the best and worst endurance for me.The best because I was in team with awesome guys and the worst because my PC froze and Im not sure what happened with my alarm,I know It was on but did I turn it off in a dream or what I dont know.

Whoa, well I think the only thing keeping me awake and somewhat lucid right now is the fact I'm filled with pride.

I'm proud of all of you, I'm proud of the effort all have put in, I'm proud of the results and I'm proud to have been even a small part of it.

Not only is it an amazing accomplishment to have reached the state of readiness we did in time but to also field 3 Teams 2 of which not only crack the Top 10 but finish Top 5.

This folks is nothing short of incredible!

Even finishing just outside the Top 10 in P 12 is an incredible accomplishment. It is a very strong finish given how far back on the Grid we started and you should all be very proud of yourselves.

Things happen in these races, that is a given. What sets us apart is our knack to continually look past that while maintaining a positive and optimistic mindset.

Not to mention are comms are fucking awesome!

Great job all, looking forward to the next one.

...after some rest of course :)

Well that was fun! At first I was slightly disappointed that we weren't in 1st/2nd split but 3rd split was still very competitive and had competent drivers in both classes, so that was awesome. Even if our whole team would run 50s to 51s we still would have no business in the competitive side of 1st split.

Very good job to Sam, Patrick and Denis for keeping the pace up and avoiding incidents. I can't exactly remember Daytona, but this has been the first 24 hour race for me in a while where we didn't have aero damage for the majority of it. Of course Sam had to do something about that in his last stint but at that point we were solidly in 5th anyway :).

I enjoyed the part when Sam tried to find out where the damage came from. He went over a lot of laps before finally finding it and then the following sentence came out: "Remember when I hit that red curb and you said that sounded expensive?". That gave me a chuckle.

Good job as well to the other teams. During such a big and busy race, on every update there is always the fear of "what if their car is messed up beyond repair and there is no point for them to continue?". Nice to see that wasn't the case for any of us. Also cool that all teams put effort in maximizing tire durations etc. At some point Duke told me he was going to triple stint tires and he didn't even sound scared :D.

Preparing the Ferrari in these few days wasn't easy but I think we pulled it off well. Thanks for all the work everyone put in, with special thanks for @Bedo, @SavreticD, @Sam Roselaar for setup/tires testing, @Zac_Sonic for the schedules and @Duke / @Zac_Sonic for the professional paints within a short time frame. And of course to everyone that practiced their ass off as soon as the car was available.

@Duke I guess we've proven that my button box is a necessity? Without it you might not have woken up :p.

lol this time around I had a chance to properly test double-stinting prior to race so I felt comfortable for a change. I knew I had plenty of tire left after my doubles so triple made sense to me especially after you stated that 4 stints could be viable.
