Kyle, what about replacing Band of Others on the door with Practice Pals instead?

Band of Others can be much smaller perhaps on the Bumper and Wing so it's still present but less obvious.

I didn't comment on the white because I wasn't a fan and because every time I say something I feel as if I come across as an asshole for saying so.

...there is no intent, believe me.

Kyle, a while back you mentioned that just changing pinstriping colors may be an option down the road. Why not just alter the pinstripe color and the half tone and leave the base color alone?

Those changes and a swap to Practice Pals may be just what the doctor ordered.

I have no problem running a Practice Pals skin if others don't want to.

Just a thought.

Nah. I mean its a matter of opinion. I like the white. I forgot about changing just the coloring, but maybe that could work out really good. Black with different secondary and tertiary colors could work sweet, a black and yellow option, black and red.

I'll play around with the colors a bit more and see about swapping in the PP logo. I have a couple ideas...

Kyle I'll post tonight something I've been messing around with on the KIA.

I took your Practice Pals Logo (the flag effect) and increased it to cover the side of the car from front fender-well to rear quarter.

The effect looks amazing especially when angled slightly upward.

Beneath that over the rear wheels I have a B2O logo at a 45° angle.

I too like the white paint, but its all a matter of opinion. Not bothered, but I do think it would be cool if people could differentiate between team A, B, C, etc and branching out to more B2O stuff like Practice Pals would be cool.

Just be careful Duke. A "Team Practice Pals" may not be to hyped about the obligatory acronym 'Team PP'.... lol, jkjk...

lol I've actually considered that so I'd refer to it as B2O/Practice Pals or for consistency sake it could be B2O/P2, P2/B2O, etc.

I'm sure we can come up with something.

The KIA paint is a bit rough Kyle I won't lie but it's a good start to an alternative I think and may help spawn some fresh ideas.

To me practice pals sounds too much like school or afterschool program. B2O is the name of the community and PP is something it does when not racing, so why not just having it somewhere on the side beside the current logo? I don't think people will understand the concept of PP without explanation.

Duly noted.

Just remember though, it's the Practice Pals program that brought most of us together.

It is the Practice Pals program that will also likely be the foundation that our League is built upon.

As a program we're an idea of how to institute change within an existing system and are therefor memorable.

As a Web Community we're simply another name easily forgotten.

These are just a few of many reasons I'm pushing Practice Pals and why I'll continue to do so.

I worry not about explaining things to people as I do it all the time for even the most obvious things.

When I was with CAN-AM we all had different highlight colors but the same theme. Someone described our team as the Power Rangers, ever since then I shy away from different colors for different drivers. But if you have say 4 drivers and 2 teams thats a different story. Team 1 has one scheme and team 2 has the same theme but a different highlight color. I will probably update our (NQR) liveries like that since we could have a potential of 5 drivers at a race.

If 2 main color schemes confuse people that much then there are other issues that only a paid professional can help with :lol:

We're talking about 2 liveries here, pretty easy to keep tabs on.

They had different color for each person, hence the "power rangers". In our case, most of us agree that same there with different color set would be just fine. Even if Daunt just changes the light blue into something else.

Can you all please give me the hexadecimal values of the rim colors you intend to use? I hope to color the mirrors the same as your rims just for some additional continuity.

The hexadecimal value will be something such as #000000 (Black), #FF0000 (Red), #FFFFFF (whited); for example.

My wheel colour will be: #4dffec.
The blue might be similar to someone elses colour but we'll see. It might have been Kyle who is not running this season I think.

Paint schemes have been updated with changes based off your input in this topic. Fonts over door and on trunk have been changed for better readability at distance and sponsor logos have been added.

Everyone should now be running mirror colors that match their preferred rim color.
