B2O Paint Schemes for iRacing

The name is no problem P, I'd love to do it! I just don't do any level of user requested cosmetic changes to any of the Endurance Set of Liveries (Red on Black).

I reason is feel it can eventually turn into all kinds of customization requests and the idea of having this one look is for brand consistency across all B2O Endurance Liveries.

Well the Audi turned out to be just as bit a pain the ass to skin as the McLaren in regards to the red B2O. Once again there are 5 different layers only this time some vary not only in scaling but rotation as well, fml.

Anyway, here's some early WIP's:



Livery will require testing here before I upload it to Trading Paints however so if anyone wants to drive it please let me know.

I'll also be removing the Mercedes from Trading Paints and replacing it with an updated version. The reason is the mirrors have a red inner paint which should not be there.

This error will be corrected and re-uploaded next week.

yeah yeah I get that dude it's all good I just thought it had your name on but it doesn't and I know now that you put them up with no name, that's fine with me. I didn't want to roll around in a car with your name on it as I'd most likely do something stupid and people might not put two and two together and think it was you that's all. Didn't want to sully the "Duke" name

Looks like they're using custom number plates. Could you check if there's any conflicts whenever you get to it?

Nice. I like the red accents. I'd like to see the 3/4 view. Did you forget to paint the "eyelids" above the headlight or is it supposed to be gray?

Anyone racing Marc's B2O Suit and helmet yet? It looks pretty sweet having your pitcrew in the same colors as the cars.

Also grab the fitting helmet while you're at it!

Are you referring to the actual pitbox colors or the pit crew uniforms, etc. Because pitbox color is determined on your car paint. Which is going to color your tool box and shit like that.

The pit crew and the helmet especially look great.

Just a suit(Driver & Crew) and helmet addition, pitbox will indeed stick with car colors.

I figured i had to be seen from far away as a N00b driver so i fiddled a bit with the B2O endurance layout for the Z4.

Great paint Quick. Reminds me of a certain V8SC paint I know and enjoy! Good eye. I'm assuming the flag on the wing is on a newer version? Just fix the number plates and name! I uploaded an overlay tiff that you can just place right in your paint psd and it will line up perfect.

I kinda figured it looked better without the numbers but it takes something away it seems.

Yeah the flag on the "Rudders/wingtips" was a late night addition. So were the red, white and blue louvres above the tires.

I figured i kept Ken's name on it as he's the original creator of the lay-out, i don't really care about my name being on a car anyway, it's enough in the relative box.... behind all the others

The .PSD made it fairly easy to edit compared to a flat .TGA, and i have my doubts about me being succesful if it was just a Targa.

When i finish my stuff around the house i'll grab a cup of coffee and add the numberplates and update the screens.

I usually just kept a marking that indicated it was by someone, so it was still obvious someone else made it but they weren't the driver. Because I think it's weird. Then again if you fuck up and they're not paying attention in the replay, they might blame Duke.

Of course. Layers are amazing. You could do it when it's flat, if you're just changing colors and such, but it would take a lot longer using the lasso, etc to select what you want. If you were moving things around though, it would be next to impossible.

Still Blancpain numberplates > iracing. Not that everyone else can see them always, unless you're a trading paints pro member, but what matters is you see em.
