As for gridding you have a good point as well. I've already set the grid for the qualify race to be reverse gridded based on iRating. It's just a 15 qualify race, not a full race, and there will be a quick repair in the official race. But maybe next time we can do something else as well.

I had only mentioned it because I find sometimes being behind better drivers points some things out that help, if I've only been mostly practising by myself. There's always requesting to be EOL, which I find in leagues is never seen as a shamefule thing when there's good reason.

I'm soooo embarrassed right now .... I know where I'm starting with an IR of 661. I'm a better driver than that, I just stupidly played the SR game to run in the back to get a higher license.

Everyone started somewhere man, don't worry about it. The game has a very steep learning curve, even for someone who is a veteran of other racing games. I was an ace at Forza and the like... I played with no assists, manual with clutch, etc etc. Came here and was quickly slapped in the face.

Just don't worry about being fast. Worry about consistency and you will get better.

You have a number of people here who feel you pain. I've been complaining about this for a while now and aside from Noel, pretty much everyone else seems to agree.

I tried driving the McLaren again on Friday after having been out of it for quite a while.

I still like its distinctive feel and handling but it also frightened me to death at Mosport, using the base setup. For the most of part the car was fine, except in the two downhill corners. Turn-in was not a problem, but when coming towards the end of the turn it was like a meteorite flew into the back side of the car. I tried releasing the throttle which made it worse, and being gentle on the throttle which helped but I wasn't able to prevent getting loose in any way.

Sounds like every other Macca driver lol. Everyone I've talked to about it on Mosport, they say similar things. It's just the car I guess.
