Batman: Arkham Knight

The line between movies and games is so blurred these days. This looks like it could be the best Batman content yet, movie, game or comic. Incredible. No wonder the games industry has become the dominant cultural medium - more revenue than the movie industry and music industry by far, and with games like this coming out it's no surprise...

I'm a big fan of the Batman movies and movie shorts (short length movies, not the Batman's casual beach clothing) and the games, this will be the first one I play on the PC, having owned the other recent games on the Xbox 360 and One. My first Batman game was on the original Gameboy way back when.

Anyone else looking forward to this one? 266843.jpg

Nice, planning on doing any commentary on it?

Which 970 did you go for?
I could do commentary but I'm not sure people like it as much as they do my iRacing vids?

I picked up an EVGA GeForce 970 FTW Edition with ACX 2.0. I just love these dual fan solutions because they run cool, quiet and are factory overclocked higher.

I'm really looking forward to this game :icon_cool: I like watching your commentary, I usually watch a bit when I'm trading in Elite.

As that's cool, it's a great card isn't it, I was thinking of selling mine and going to a 980Ti but I'm going to hold fire and get whichever is the beast card when the Rift releases.

I pre-ordered it. I'm currently doing a playthru of all of the games right now. I finished Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, and only have the Catwoman side mision wrapup and the Harley DLC for City left. I've already moved on to Arkham Origins, and am right at the Deathstroke fight (which is a pain).

Aaaaand thinking I'm gonna return it now. I realized my graphics card is below minimum specs (it's an ATI Radeon 5800 with 1gb VRAM), and given all the headaches people are having, I'm kinda doubting I'll be able to run it at all.

Ideally, there'd be some way to dial down the graphics to something like Arkham Origins' level, which would be perfectly fine by me. Failing that...looks like this one goes back unless/until I upgrade my video card.
