I've just hopped on after getting it working, had a ping of 47... thanks Quick! If anyone's on tonight i'll jump on

Isnt that relatively high? i believe i ping in the 20's to UK servers.....
But around that time i was transferring stuff from the server(This computer) to another so might be the cause.
Did u use the win7 ping fix? that's if ur using win 7 x64 ofcourse.

Doesn't bother me, I used to play with pings of over 100 with our US and Canadian cousins, just gotta lead more eh

Come to think of it I was torrenting a shedload and using Spotify etc. but nah 47 is fine!

p.s. yeah running win 7 64bit but honestly it's fine, got it running at 1920x1080, 16:9. luvvly jubbly

Does anyone know why Battlefield 1942 will just start randomly recording? I have Fraps completely disabled and it doesn't seem to be a Teamspeak Issue either.

If I can't find a way past it I'm just going to have to drop the game because it's so prominent that it's completely ruining any chance of having fun in the game.

What part didn't you understand, the game starts recording itself and runs at about 3FPS.

Fraps is off, Afterburner is not configured to record and it's happened on and off of Teamspeak so I have no idea what the fuck is happening.

BF42 has no built in recorder, so I have no clue how this would happen. That's why "record" threw my off.

However, check Origin => Application Settings => Broadcast; did you link your Twitch account and check "Automatically broadcast when starting a game"?
