This could prove to be an excellent Admin Tool provided you could get player nametags to show up while in spectator mode.

It would also be handy if you could load into a server that's full and sit in spectator mode and watch the action until there's room for you to participate in the match.

If it turns out that spectator mode means slots in the game being taken up by idle players then it's a bad thing IMHO and hopefully won't be implemented.

That may be one of the technical issues they are working through before implementation.

Would be a very nice tool to follow questionable players around, hopefully (if it's done nicely) they'd both let you fly around freely and choose to follow a player, selectable from a list.
