And check these badboys out! Been looking to upgrade possibly this spring and the 6850k is looking like a nice fit for my needs. Good factory clock speed and of course 6 cores. This old Socket 1366 980 is still a good CPU but one day soon will have to be delegated to the second "hand me down" computer.

Anybody else possibly eyeing one of these up?

I wonder how much these will retail at. With a new motherboard and ram it'll be pricey I'll bet. Looking forward to reading some more about it all. 10 cores on the 6950X... wow :icon_eek:
