We've had a few (two?) Flightnights with RoF now, but now I want to come "home" and start flying in IL-2 again.
RoF is a good sim, no doubt about that. However I feel that it is quite lifeless during our missions. It's dogfighting roots shines through.
I've finally installed IL-2 (haven't found my disks yet but bought it again on gog.com, already patched to version 4.10
).
I have to say that the old lady is still pretty and with vast more "feel" to it than RoF. Also, missions are more diverse as the planes themselves are capable of more duties.
So I feel like starting up a decent DCG campaign again and start flying IL-2 regularly.
What do you guys think of this?
