Crashing...

Hi guys, yeah I am genreally just an unluclky person, but never mind, got to make your own luck in that case I guess.

I updated the drivers because it made me update them during the installation process of BF4. Should I really go back to the old 320.49's? I mean, when the game runs it runs absolutely great, it's just I keep getting this directx crashing which is the problem.

Happens with both 64 and 32bit Wappy. I really appreciate you all trying to help though, thankyou. I wouldn't have a clue how to "de-overclock" my 650ti Boost, it was factory overclocked so the thought of messing about with that fills me with dread.

The EA guy I was speaking to ended up giving me the legal department contact details... I got a bit...animated with him :icon_redface:

I'm going to try and reinstall the 320.49's as that's the only thing I haven't done yet.

Cheers lads

Well, some Beta drivers came out (331.93) so I thought I'd give them a shot before I start messing around with clock speeds etc.

I haven't crashed once since then... Running on Ultra smooth as silk... here's hoping it has actually fixed it and not broken something else, but so far so good.

I completed the campaign today and was a bit underwhelmed to be honest, probably the shortest single player I've played. Looking forward to getting stuck into the multiplayer, although I might wait for the next patch before I do to avoid some of the bugs.

I'm still struggling with mouse and keyboard too, so I kind of tripped and stumbled my way through the campaign... I'm guessing I was looking at the bl00dy keyboard for a third of the playthrough! :icon_redface:
