Current Status at Camp

Caution! There is a player who has put a tent (empty) at the peak of our hill on US92 and is camping it, he saw me when I went to check that dear stand and I couldn't get out in time. (popped) Coordinate log-ins to hunt him down.

I'm hidden in the small evergreen behind where our tents would spawn, next to the huge boulder.

Ogami, I'll be on later in the day so if you want me to head south toward the coast we could meet up and I could give you some food. I think I may even have a can of coke or two to quench your thirst if need be.

Fireblade said he found our two tents on US92 but both were almost empty, he also found the flies but not Ogamis body sorry

I wonder if he put down his tent, raided ours, put it all in his tent and packed up and left.

At least with the server back up now we'll be back on it more often to keep an eye on our stuff.

Since these servers have been doubious on up time for us the past 36 hours, and we've been scouted on that hill on that server, perhaps we should move to a new server for our camp? If not then we have to relocate.

oh yeah didnt know about the packing up tent thing, erm, we can try to find another server the issue is finding a server that is day when its night in RL and also doesnt lag

US189 was the other server we had a tent on, i havent checked yet (just finished work) there is 2 US189 servers though, if you load it through the sixlauncher its the one with the US flag.

the other servers we played on last night was UK5 and Atlanta 10 - but that started to go dark at about midnight CST. I will spend some time tonight hunting for another day server - i hate night servers!

As great as that location is to find, it's a horrible place to keep a tent. The fact that it's near a deer stand means it will be scouted quite regularly especially since it's in the North West quadrant of the map which is already highly sought after.

You need to find a secluded spot where traffic is likely to not travel and set up camp there.

...besides, your just too close to boulders and we just don't have the meds to deal with Fireblade's legs at this time.

I have heard that outside of the map is actualy Z free , so a good place to set up base camp .....

its called the wilderness! the only problem is you can get very lost in it and the only way out is respawning.

All kidding aside , if the outside map is actually Z free it would seem to me that other players might have the same idea and have all ready set up base camp in that region ...

I might stock up on food and scout the outer edges of the map for tents and other ph@t lewts ..... and even bag me some kills .

And what happens in the next patch when they put in a "kill zone" to prevent people from going off the map? All your loots will be toast.

Issue with that DOA is that everyone hast that plan - huge thing for people to do is drive around outside the map with vehicles looking for tents, which aren't exactly hard to find when the terrain is completely barren.. as it is when you're outside of the map.

We're looking at the lakes north east of Barazino right now as to where we'll be setting up our base camp.

Don't leave tents or vehicles of the map.
Now and then they wipe it all clear.
It's considered cheating.
