Want to see what your personal or team paint looks like on a real car? Now you can!

I've started doing RL / iRacing photo mash ups as a way to promote my paints and see how they look in real life.

I'd be happy to do the same for you and your paint - free for B2O members. Feel free to post below... what I need from you:

-A high quality RL photo of the exact car (Example: if you want an R8, it has to be the new R
. I might be able to make similar makes work, so feel free to ask. I can also help look for and give insight to good options. Again, feel free to ask.
-Your paint
-Extra details if you'd like:
-- -Pit crew / stall customizations (may incur additional charge)
-- -Car #

This is NOT a simple cut and paste, but a lot of time is put into this to make it a work of art. Lighting adjustment, various parts of the car are edited and/or replaced, and other custom art makes the piece come to life.

Latest works gallery:

NASCAR Chevrolet SS Burnout (Mellow Yellow theme)

Mercedes AMG GT3 (Koons art car: https://www.tradingpaints.com/showroom/view/67333/Koons-Art-Car-Mercedes-AMG-GT3 )

Chevrolet Corvette DP (Band of Others Racing)

Audi R8 LMS (Tequila Patron: https://www.tradingpaints.com/showroom/view/66711/Tequila-Patron-Audi )

BMW Z4 GT3 (Band of Others Racing)

NASCAR Chevrolet SS (Mellow Yellow Theme)

As a footnote, doing this photoshop work has really made me both appreciate iRacing's art, while also showing me where iRacing's graphics could improve. It's interesting to put them alongside eachother and see where iRacing could use some work. Lighting and reflections, for example, are awful, if not nonexistant, so careful attention to this helps make the picture pop, especially with windows.

lol @Duke I'm going to see how long it takes for him to see and reply.

On a sidenote, I'm noticing that these @ tags @Duke don't really do anything except link the profile, unless i'm mistaken. I'd have thought it would've notified you of being tagged or whatever.

Sorry, I've been pressed for time for a long time now so I don't do a lot of browsing, my apologies.

I'll swap out the image tonight and add a few more of these other excellent images.

As for the tagging, that functionality may exist but probably is configured incorrectly. You have to remember that this is my first experience with XenForo as well and it's vastly different than vBulletin in many areas.

Wow, that turned out nice. Fancy headlights!
Yep, like I said earlier in the thread, you really learn / pick apart the sim and can tell exactly where it falls short in graphics. Watching videos and such you can always tell it's a video game (for the most part) but sometimes you can't just tell why.

Reflections are once again the biggest factor here, especially on things that should be glass. For most of the paint, I just let some of the reflections shine through, like on the hood, which adds to the effect, but I have to completely replace the headlights and the windows, as there is almost NO reflection in-game, whereas in RL you see what you see above, with a lot of bright reflections that make it almost impossible to see into the cockpit or see the actual headlamps. Head on, you kinda get that glare from the headlights but from an angle like above, you see the actual bulbs which is really stupid, given that it's extremely bright and the glare from the reflective housing would make that impossible.
