If you put half as much planning into assaulting a compound in squad you guys would be un-stoppable
This is called "Teamwork" little P.

I can understand the reason you don't recognize it because it's organized.

It's not your fault though, your a victim of your own gnattention span.

Marc and Quadro, can you confirm that the changed schedule works for you guys?
Not sure if you sent him an invite to the new team Ken, but quadro still isn't even on the team. All drivers ensure you're on the "B2O Endurance" team. I have since sent him an invite but I can't tell whether there was already one pending.

I thought I sent an invite but can't be sure?

BTW, is anyone having trouble with the Team Paints interface at iRacing? For the life of me I could not select custom values for the rims without using that clunky color box/slider bs.

Previously you could just enter the Hex values, save and be done but that doesn't seem to work anymore, at least not for me. I believe the Rim color should be #490000 Matte if anyone wants to try and change it.

The color is supposed to match the darker background color of the B2O logo and outer vehicle stripe main color.

I got it to #470000 and that's the closest I can get it to #490000. I think it's probably close enough to pass. The interface seems very buggy to begin with. No hexcode input, and a few other bugs with it as well.

Oh yeah crap, I forgot to do that still, here it is:

Make sure before you begin a stint you set the traction control and brake bias to your liking.

I could paste the wheel colour in the box, but I didn't save it because the car paint colour was a mix of blue instead of red/black. Could you check if it actually has the right colours on the B2O Endurance team? It definitely worked earlier in the week in the practice sessions.

Are you guys ready? Here are some examples you can expect during a 24 hour race:

At least this time, if we survive all of it, 20 hours in we can't get stuck in the pits due to a team racing bug.

Update @ 3 hour mark: After an unfortunate ignition issue that caused the B2O Endurance team to be towed from the starting grid to the pits, we brought her out to very little traffic. Pretty much dead last 22nd in GT3 Class.

Currently, after 2 stints by myself and 1 stint by Beatty Jr (and him up on deck again) the McLaren team climbed up to 16th. No damage, just fuel saving and careful driving.

Good luck guys!

What happened at the start?!

This reminds of a top gear episode where they took a diesel 3 series endurance racing. Which one of you is Clarkson, May, Hammond and the Stig?

Good job on the car btw it looks fantastic :icon_cool:

Six hours in, and team B2O Endurance is still running strong! The team didn't qualify so we started the race 40th of 42. An electrical issue prevented Kyle from taking the green flag, and we started the race in a 50 second hole.

Kyle Breen-Bondie, John Beatty Jr., Ken Lindberg, and Anthony Peeble have all done stints in the car. The only incidents so far have been a minor brush with a prototype, and another lapse in the electrical system. Fortunately, Ken was able to reboot the module and things seem to have been resolved.

The B2O McLaren has climbed all the way up to 7th in the GT field, currently -18L behind the prototypes and -5L in the GT field, and nearly 240 laps completed!

12 hours in and Band of Others Endurance is still rolling on strong with Noel Luneburg behind the wheel! In the last six hour, Ken Lindburg, Anthony Peeble, and Marc Gammack all took turns behind the wheel. Ken suffered a spin in turn 1 during his second split that resulted in some front end damage, but the team took an extra minute in the pit to get it straightened out and the car is now only 2-3kmh off pace on the straights. No major arose through the next two stints, but Marc suffered a couple spins and a scuff with a DP but luckily the car only took a couple seconds to straighten out!

An issue towards then end of Marc's second stint sent the crew scrambling when they found a connection issue getting Noel ready for his first stint. The team managed to get the issue resolved just in time for him to take over the car. Since getting behind the wheel, Noel has managed to retake the 7th position and has now put a lap on the car behind!

We're now past halfway and all the team is excited to be past the half way! Upcoming drivers include John Beatty, Ken Lindburg, Marc Gammack, and Anthony Peeble, all looking to wrap up their final stints as the race enters the wee hours of the evening. Noel and Kyle will get some rest and hope to finish out the race in the early morning!

Only three hours left in the iRacing Daytona 24 and the Band of Others Endurance McLaren MP4-12C GT3 car has climbed through the field all the way to the sixth position! John Beatty, Ken Lindburg, Anthony Peeble and Marc Gammack all put in their final stints of the race and the team sits -5L from the GT leader after 675 laps completed in class and 734 laps completed in the event as a whole!

The only drama in the last nine hours was a small incident between Marc and another Daytona Prototype that bent the steering. However the team was able to fix the tie rod quickly and only loose 30 seconds on pit road.

Noel Luneburg is in the car now and he and Kyle Breen-Bondie are now tasked with finishing off the final 3.5 hours! Tune into http://multistre.am/bandofothers/zac_sonic/layout4/ for live coverage of the closing laps!

-5 laps from the leader in a 24 hour mixed class endurance race is really, really good. Well done drivers :icon_cool:
