The 1.7.2.5 patch is now available on DayZCommander .
I will update the server to1.7.2.5 Hive 0.7.3 and the 95883 beta patch within the hour .

Ps: Duke could you (when you have the time) do 2 things for me :
1 : Change the server name to match the the new versions .
2 : send me a pm how to do it , so can change it when you are offline.

Pps: And switch it to the correct forums :s .

Ppps: Looks like dayzcommander tricked me :s.
When starting up DC it says update DayZ but when you click on it , it will say "error getting files" ........

Consider me annoyed :s .
As soon as the patch is Actually available i'll update everything ...

Just get the torrent from their main site, will work...
What you are saying has been said at the dayz forum aswell, it will only be released onto DayzCommander and the six updater when they confirmed the gfx glitches are gone.
And as far as i see they arent :(

Well I think we should stay at the current version for the day and I'll try to get on tonight and update.

We went through h3ll trying to update yesterday because HFB kept messing up the files or something. They had uploaded around 3 or 4 different files in a short amount of time and all they did was screw up the Server upon install.

They also didn't uninstall or overwrite properly as we reverted back to our current version but that didn't work because we were running it on an updated hive.

I want to make sure that HFB has made available working files and then I'll do the updates as well as update the Server Name.

yeah i'm getting pretty sick of this whole patching business .
The devs need a dedicated test group and test patches out before they even breathe word of any up coming changes .....
But that would mean they need to be a professional size development team , which they are not (yet) .

I think ,for my blood pressures sake , i will stop reading the dayzmod forums and just focus on playing .

In fact , i say we should not update the current server at all .
Leave it the way it is and when the new server is made available run that on the latest version .

Dayz is in the alpha stages of its' build. Every patch that comes out is going to come out untested and broken. When the standalone comes out, its' also going to be in the alpha stages, and will continue releasing broken, debilitating content that is completely untested.

The players are the testers in an Alpha. The developers are too busy to sit back and test stuff. They already have a "dedicated test group"... its' called the playerbase.

Duke,

There aren't enough reliable uploaders providing the update. Upon release, everyone and their mother is trying to get it to update their server. Sit back on updating for a few hours and sit on the current update. It'll give everyone a chance to sit back and get a feel for what Rocket has broken anyway.

To be honest, I think if we sat idle one update behind everybody else it'll cut down on the scripters, anyway.

Just a thought.
