So the update is on the horizon!

“Since the last time I spoke to you, the guys in the studio have been busy getting things wrapped up for our next big update. I promised I’d give you some info about Pikes Peak so here’s a bit more detail about what is going into the pack. We’ve got the full paved version of Pikes Peak as it exists today and a mixed surface version based around the layout of the course circa 2007. You’ll be able to play Hillclimb in Championship Mode, Custom Events and in our Online Events as well as including it into your Leagues.
At this stage we’ve got some of the most iconic Hillclimb cars from the last 30 years available. The real challenge with Pikes Peak is learning the course. There is no co-driver to help you out here so it’s all about mastering each and every bend to try and get the maximum potential out of your car. One other bit of advice I have is that if you want to start your Hillclimb Championship as soon as the update lands, make sure you have a decent chunk of in-game credits saved up so that you can purchase a car and start with no delay.

Citroen's are awesome. I used to have a Xantia with hydraulic suspension and pretended I was in a pimpin' lowrider with air suspension at a cruise... until it leaked all over the road, I couldn't move blocking the one way road and the Police were not impressed...

Nice accomplishment. I'm getting there... I keep challenging for 2-3 in all my championships but getting closer.

It has been bugging me how consistent the AI seems to be. Always seems like in any 1 "season" the same guy wins every single event, aka he never has an "off" stage. The AI seem to finish, for the most part, in the same ordering.

I win only one or two special section of 24 in championship - and take first place in global result LOL. Sometimes you can build strategy in championship if another pilot is taking place, for example 1-2-5 or 2-2-4 (for big championships), or simply look at results of time sector (for single events).
for 2-3 sections all can turn upside down. even if you have a difference of more than 40-60 seconds!

I gave pikes peak a try, but it's like riding a wild camel blackfolded for me.... Will take ages to learn the track too...

Im sorry about Monaco, Shilka. it is unfair, I think. when car flew out in Greece, you can recover vehicle, in Monte Carlo not. what is a difference?

The only difference I can think of, is that in monaco the drop off behind the guardrail is a bit steeper XD

Still it seems unfair at times, I've had where I slid of road with 5km/h, just a few feet, and suddenly you get a pop up, 81% damage, unrecoverable, while you hit nothing and are barely next to the road...

I deserved the unrecoverable in monaco in the leage though, I went straight over the guardrail in a left 1 doing like 100 km/h hehehe.

One huge thing I've noticed they've fixed is the springs. You don't bounce back up after hitting a huge jump so far... before it was like a diving board. Much easier to control after getting air.
