DiRT Rally

Finland is a scary difficult rally. The handling changes to most of the cars are a nice change. I've really only driven a couple and I haven't had a chance to drive the new 2000's cars BUT emptybox posted a video of the update and included a couple of handy links. One being the Colin McRae focus livery which wasn't included in the game and another being an alt camera pack which puts the camera in a way better spot.

I love the sense of humour from Codies in their patch notes. Looks like a lot of things we encountered in our last little Dirt Rallycross session have been fixed like the rear wheels looking like the handbrake was on etc.

Really well done video Injen. Captures the feel of Dirt Rally perfectly, really liked it :icon_cool:

I've got back into Dirt Rally in a big way recently, now I have the wheel and pedals set up perfectly for the game it's a joy to slide the RWD's around. I'm going through the career mode and love the fact there is no difficulty slider for the AI drivers, and it's tough out there! The decision whether to push it and shave seconds off your stage time but risk crashing and losing so much more time is a really interesting one to make, the game is almost a psychological battle in that way. Brilliant stuff.

I'm currently running with all assists off, all hud elements off and in the camera view between cockpit and bonnet view with just my speedo and rev counter showing to replicate an actual driving position, and true hardcore experience. Loving it!
