Physics in Sweden has pleased me. Driving style is very different from what I had in other races DR. A bit like the snowy stages in Monaco, but it is more difficult, everything is covered snow. Add to this the narrow high-speed sections (like in Finland) and treacherous snowdrifts, threatening to drag you away - and you get a lot of impressions!

i think Sweden - is the best update what we ever seen in DR ^^

I ran the Daily last night in Sweden and holy crap that is an awesome event. The snowbanks a forgiving in the way that they don't murder you, however they'll spin ya at a moments notice.

I did that daily too, the Polo was a beast. I think I rolled it at least four times
Yea I had a heck of a time, eventually got it setup okay then forgot to load the setup for the Daily and it was loose and all over the place.

Now off to do today's daily!

So today I learned check ALL your settings! I've been having braking issues esp in tracks like Germany and Monaco. Well I looked to see if there were settings to adjust braking power, well there is and it was set to 10% so I was giving full brake every time I touched my brake pedal pretty much *facepalm*

Seconded! I have a spring setup on my G27 shifter to turn it into a handbrake. An idea I took from another forum. Completely reversable, does not permanently alter. Same setup could be used for a sequential shifter too but then no handbrake of course. lol Heres a pic...

capnbard quotes: "I had to replace two of the allen screws on either side of the shifter to have something long enough to hook the springs to.Screws: Hillman #4 1/2" sheet metal screws.
http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?productId=3035758 These came in a 24(ish) pack. I might suggest using a 3/4" length screw if you can find those. The 1/2" works well but 3/4" would give you a little wiggle room.

I got mine at Lowes, so if you're in the Americas I'm sure you could find them there.
EDIT: Also, I haven't had any issues with shifting into 1st, 2nd, 5th, or 6th gear positions. The springs do a decently good job of keeping the shifter in the 3/4 slot."

When I had a G27 I did that to the shifter with elastic bands to turn it into a sequential.

Now I have the DFGT I have a sequential shifter and I use the Joystick of my X52-Pro as the handbrake. Sits next to the wheel.

It's puuuurfect :) (props to Quicksilver for the suggestion)

I tried the elastic bands but wanted something a little firmer. I keep forgetting about the damn joystick trick!!!! Thats what I think I'm going to do for now. Seems a joystick would be an acceptable replacement/temporary fix for a handbrake. Just need to get one.

So wales can burn in hell. Had to limp the stupid thing home through all but one stage I think. So hopefully next week will go better :(

I also really need to warm up some. I went from the L79 in iracing straight into the league race and it took me the entire first stage to adjust. Then night happened and I was just fucked. Then rain at night happened and I got 2 flats in that stage... one happened after sliding around a hairpin.

Edit: fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck wrong thread.

My wheel settings got completely reset. Anyone have a good settings file I can have? And how / where to load it? Or share theirs? I'm using a G27.

Mainly the deadzone, sensitivity, etc seh-ings.

There are a bunch available on the steam workshop you could give a go. Otherwise I don't have a G27 unfortunately.

No and it makes it kinda confusing. Not even sure why mine reset exactly but now deadzone and shit are ridiculous and unless i'm blind there's no reset for the wheel settings to go back to default. So i'm just trying to get it to something usable so I can then adjust based on my preferences.
