Elite: Dangerous

Black holes are one thing but it's the White giants and collapsing stars you have to be really careful of. On my first epic exploration I almost lost my Asp to a pair of White giants!

So with the demand for X52 pro sky high, they are selling for $0-$40 less then a x55 rhino. With many store sold out and no idea when to restock. Time to read up on the X55 or try and dig out some info if they will bring out a x55 pro.

Well, I'm back to doing alliance missions, like the 1.1 changes so far...

Just had an encounter with a pirate succesfully interdicting me, and managed to kill him with my type 6. Noticed something about his name, the pirate was called Jonathan Åsäter. I looked up the pronounciation of the punctuation marks, and yeah, it's pronounced as Jonathan Ass-eater. Very funny Frontier

Well, I got myself in trouble today... got my type 7 destroyed twice, costing me 4.5 million in insurance and cargo, and just now got attacked by something big again, and managed to escape with just 8% hull left, and a leaking canopy... Good thing I made it, because I had 3.5 million in imperial slaves on me... XD

Is it me, or is trading a lot more dangerous now? I get interdicted at at least 50% of the systems I pass through... barely had a trip without interdiction today...

I made four jumps last night and got interdicted twice. The first one was an Eagle that got eaten up by my multi-cannon. The second time it was a Cobra and I immediately noped right out of there.

I'm thinking about using my trading money to fund a Viper to punish all who oppose me.

Now, if you have two ships one stays parked where you left it, and you go back there and swap them out?

Playing open play?

on mobius I got interdicted once today and made maybe 6-8 million credits trading. I'm only ranked novice in combat though. I was interdicted by a adder which my Clipper ate in seconds.

Viper is a good shout tm but not much cargo space. It sounds really good though, and is deadly in one on one combat. Once you get to the Cobra though that's where the real versatility comes in. You can be a force to be reckoned with and have a very decent cargo hold at the same time.

I've decided that this is a game of hunters and I'm tired of being the prey. I'm putting the space Toyota in the garage and kitting out a Viper tonight.

Did my first rare trade run round trip tonight. Man in 2 hours i made 1.24 mil, that is 200k then all my credit made from BH so far. Soon my MK lll will be in all As. lol

Yeah, rare trades are good money, and fun to do too as they take you around the milky way quite a bit. if you have some scanners mounted they are good for some exploring on the way too.

I learned last night that I can't scoop up random cargo for fun when I'm bounty hunting in a RES. I'm not good enough yet to realize I'm getting ganked by an NPC pirate while I'm concentrating on killing another pirate. Oh well, it was only 100k in bounties and 13k for a new ship. :icon_sad:

Also, I really need a joystick.

Tm i did the same thing to first trip to a RES. Didn't die, but did get a 14k fine.

I'm lucky to only have got 2k in fines so far. Especially since I'm cherry picking wanted ships from the local security.

I'm looking forward to the Wings update when we can link up and dish out some B2O pain... :icon_twisted: Those Resource extraction sites won't know what's hit them... And we might finally be able to take down an Elite Anaconda...

I'd like to try and take on a Capital Ship in a wing too, should be awesome

It needs to take a couple more months to come out. I'm not ready to venture out into the big, scary universe yet!

Anacondas are easy, just target docking computer and boom. It will be fixed soon but still funny. i think the same guy that built the exhaust vent for the Death star had some input on the Anacondas. hahaha

Yay! Ordered a Thrustmaster T-Flight HOTAS today, it'll be here next week. Finally!

Nice Tm, just got my x55 today. I opened it up and and put it back till i have a clear mind to understand what i am doing. Will break it in tonight on some trade runs. No more submitting to indications!
