Well I spent a number of hours tonight up-rezzing DFDS Logistics and a lot of it was spent adding Conspicuity Tape which turned out really well. I didn't manage to get the sides done, only the top corners on both sides and the rear.

Unfortunately, the game shares skins between Trailers and Tankers so even though it turned out well on the Trailer it looks like ass on the Tankers. I'll have to put the rear conspicuity on hold for now until I figure out how to deal with the Tankers.

Here's an idea of how DFDS looks now with conspicuity tape:

Just found out there's a Multiplayer so i think i might actually buy it.
And give a shot at re-skinning a truck to match my dad's

There's no multiplayer. There is some spoof multiplayer mod site but it's just a trojan spreader.

At this point in time, I have 4 Freight Companies skinned and hope that some of you are open to trying them out. They are really simple to install and activate and although you will get a saved game error (!), adding/removing them is not an issue; I've tested it thoroughly.

As of now the following have been skinned or are undergoing continual skinning improvements:

• DFDS Logistics
• LKW Walter
• Logesta
• P&O Ferrymasters

Due to the ridiculous method that ETS2 handles skins in Trailer_eu, one side is skinned only and mirrored on the other. These skins are also used for Tankers so it's imperative the graphics are placed in the middle of each skin. The only exception is DFDS Logistics which decals their Trailers the same as done ingame.

Conspicuity has been removed from these trailers and will not be included until such time as I can figure out how to make it specific to Trailers only.

Likewise I've had to be creative with my placement of Unit #s and omit some graphics I would have otherwise used.

If interested please let me know and I'll upload them to the Server via the Blog and link here.

Also, any and all feedback on these skins is welcome as it will only help me improve.

Lastly, all skins have been rezzed up from 512px to 4096px.

In this process, one trailer has stood out as much uglier than all the rest and it's the trailer skin for the Aero Trailer. Unfortunately, it looks as if Mercedes is the only company using this thing (or is it R&D/Development?), who knows because I sure don't?

Anyway, I had to skin this gawd awful thing once and for all and since Mercedes was the only thing I could find online I give you the Mercedes Aero Skin:



I had to create this bad boy from scratch including the wave effect. All told, this skin took close to 10 hours to create and get to this point.

As always, it's a high resolution texture of 4096.
