No worries Li-uhl P. Just a good discussion. I'll never say graphics are unimportant, I just think its very far down the list but it is subjective. Even so, I think it looks better than skyrim. It certainly doesn't look like a decade or even 5 year old game.

First people are already playing as it's midnight in down under, and it's midnight for the people VPN-ing to be from down under. I'll just wait till tomorrow. Just spent 12 hours on cleaning the entire hous and getting a weeks worth of groceries, so I'm good to go aftera good night's rest

Avoid FunStock Digital. Bought from them because they have had a good reputation in the past (they're along the same line as GMG) however, after delaying keys until Monday when all other retailers were releasing them right away, they are still unable to deliver:

Nope, haven't preloaded. Still have to download 24GB. The site is still down, and their response is now "just keep trying to get on the site".

Edit: Made a refund request (not actually been refunded yet) and ordered from GreenManGaming. Got the game instantly. Ugh what a headache.

Is there a particular reason you're going through all these odd sites I've never heard of?

Bit cheaper ($48 instead of $60). Sites like GMG are different than sites like G2A which are gray-market sellers. GMG is just a normal retailer which purchases Steam keys from Bethesda (or other publishers) then resells them (they tend to sell new releases like this near or at cost.

Must say my first impression is excellent!

Game is running buttersmooth with very acceptable med/high settings for my aging GTX660. The fallout feel is there plenty to do and pick up, game looks good and absolutely loving the slow scavinging adventure style of play. Combat is challenging so far, the building options are plentyfull, upgrading, everything is there. After starting out it feels like there's hundreds of hours to spend in this game...

Well, after watching Shilka stream for a bit I decided to give it a go.

Here's my first hour or so. I'll be streaming this as I play, enjoyed the first hour and the graphics aren't too bad. I think I can look past it if the experience is good enough.

Good first impression though. Here's my first hour, it's now 2:30 am so I need to get some shut eye but I'm already looking forward to the next session

So far it's been great, everything I've hoped for! So much hype to live up to, but thus far it has delivered. Lots to do and I'm just amazed at the depth of everything. Especially the settlement building and all. I've wasted several hours on one already, it is very fun.

My day off yesterday was well-spent.

Yet another game where NVidia cards perform better. I mean, yeah, maybe it's because they pay the developers, but Jesus, at this point, I see no reason to get an AMD card again when I finally upgrade my PC.
