[Daunt]

Has anyone heard of this game?? It sounds extremely intriguing and I think quite a few people would enjoy this sort of game:

So i just played and beat the game. Yes it really is that short. I wrote a review on steam for the game. Copied it and will paste it here:



Was a decent game, Beautiful scenery, Interesting story, and honestly creepy.

Pro's:
Very well written story
Interesting enough to keep me playing up until the end
Characters we're relateable and interactions brought out personal emotions

Con's:
Dark back story and ending
Short game took around 4 hours to beat
Doesn't seem like there is any reward for exploring
Seems like there would be absolutely no replay value

I'm gunna check recommend this game yes, but to be completely honest, i really don't know if I would. It's a great story but overall for the price it is, and little to no replay value after knowing the story, it really doesnt't feel like it was worth it. Was a beautiful and well written game tho. The creators really did put alot of work into it. And the human interaction between the 2 main characters and back story was amazingly acted and well written. overall 6-7/10.

Would i recommend it to anyone? honestly don't know. Probly lean to a no. It was basically like watching a movie the entire time, there is no action, just interacting with objects. You could honestly probably watch a video of the entire game's key scenes and see/learn the entire story on youtube and finish in less then 30-45mins if that. If you want to check it out for yourself, go for it. It was absolutely well written. But would I say you HAVE TO GET THIS GAME? Absolutely not.

Hm. Interesting. Not what I'd expect. Game length seems like a very disappointing aspect. At the current price point, for the amount of gameplay I get, it doesn't seem like a worthwhile buy. Good review though.

It does look great, don't get me wrong. The game play was seamless but overall it was just too short for its price. Not to mention replay is essentially playing the same exact thing over, just different choices to make in the character interactions but I get the feeling overall outcome will still be the same.

Game looks pretty awesome. But I ended up just watching a lets play instead of getting it.

Probably not a bad idea given how long the actual game is. Did you find a good one you'd care to share?

I watched Sips playthrough, he's pretty entertaining and he did blitzed the play through over like 3 days.

I enjoy watching Jackscepticeye and Markiplier play through games like this, because I enjoy the combination of good story telling and they're decent commentary. Am disappointed to hear the dark ending though, because while the back story was a little down, I was hoping that this would be a nice game about hope or new beginnings..

I don't know if 4 hours is short, considering its a $20 game. Was actually considering buying this just because of the good dialog and story (only 3 days in on both play-throughs), and that's not something I can say about another $20 game that came out recently.. (Did you roll your eyes because I totally went there? Because I totally just went there!! )

You might like Sips then. I find Jack and Mark to be a little too over the top but Sips is usually pretty good. He is also great at commentary and making up extra story.

Only if you keep saying 1989 d00kie. I'd watch but I have the game and still need to play it. Rust is just too time consuming
