First GT3 Race at Phillip Island

Hey all, finally published my first ever GT3 race.

Turned out to be a rather topsy-turvy race a lot of the blame going directly to yours truly.

Thanks my friend, glad you enjoyed it.

I did enjoy GT3 very much so I'll likely be racing a lot more to come. I'll also likely stick with the Ruf Cup throughout the 2014 season as well assuming they mix up the tracks a bit.

Yeah, that mid race crash analysis was a nice surprise. No idea how you managed to get the green highlighting between the text and the iRacing background . Transparency or something?

You should feel lucky that you are not racing Interlagos in GT3 this week, damn what a crash fest. I couldn't get even one decent race in so far because I keep getting taken out in crashes. I'm convinced I pick the safest route around the crash every time yet some car still comes flying my way. Then you're stuck behind the slower cars with no overtaking opportunities because the aero is broken.

Great video d000kie, I enjoyed watching it. Indeed a nice little bit with taking a moment to look at that incident instead of just moving on with the race. Unlucky to be in that incident, but still a good result in the end!

Thanks guys for the positive feedback.

I'm really trying to find my feet in the video department so I'd expect to see continual experimentation in that department. The crash analysis, while cool, takes a really long time to do so I'm hoping I don't crash often else these videos will be a nightmare to produce lol.

It's going to be a busy week coming up as I have a lot of content recorded from the weekend.
