Flightnight 10.05.2012 - Roll Call

We're continuing our campaign this evening where we fly for the German side against the Russians in Crimea.
The year is 1942 and we have just managed to conquer an enemy airfield that was uncomfortably close to our own lines (yay!)

BTW, I have also set up this event in the calendar. Not sure if you know about it?
You can access it by clicking on the 'calendar' link under the main menu row.
Any opinions on if we should use the calendar for upcoming events or should we just stay with our old ways and post the event here only?

Thanks guys, for the very fun flights yesterday! It was exciting trying the old bomb run in the 110 again (thanks for reminding me of the fuse delay Wotan ). Also, I'm slowly learning to accept that the 110 is no dogfighter :lol:
Solid fun trying to shoot down I-16s in total darkness too. Had a couple of scary moments there when I realized the enemy was beside me and only a few meters away :icon_eek:

Not one of my best performances as a virtual pilot, though. Very bad luck with BF-110, once hit by flak and dead and then the f**king haze making it impossible to spot anything on the ground.
