Flightnight 12.04.2012 - Roll Call

Tonight we'll continue our Kuban campaign for the German side.
So far we've had a few good missions but nothing decisive yet. In our last mission the Russians got the upper hand and we should expect fierce resistance from the enemy yet as it seems they've gotten some elite pilots in the area.
Hopefully the weather is clearing up which will help us, since we're not at our best in bad weather (to say the least). We have interesting takeoffs and landings though

Very cool to fly an F4 again. Very nice atmosphere and visuals over the Crimea, too. All in all I'm looking forward to next Thursday.

It was indeed a nice flight over Criemea last night. A bit cloudy and I could have wished for more opposition but all in all very nice. And it was fun to land normally again too
I bet we'll have our hands full next time as it looks like we're sent right into the lion's mouth. I guess I'll wish for less opposition after that LOL.

Sorry to hear of your problems HaJa. You were almost there yesterday though. Maybe give it a try again next week?

I think this was our first night mission in a DCG campaign. Finding back to the airfield demanded godly navigation skills and Wapwap's landing on said field was nothing short of amazing. Well done!
The last picture is from our last mission where only Wotan and me were tasked in defending a high value target on a quite cloudy day. We both landed and completed the mission successfully
