Forum Suggestions

Since Fragtard has been rebuilt pretty much from scratch, I thought I'd hear all your thoughts on how to configure the forums.

I'm not sure if we want to break it down into Genre's such as FPS, RPG, Sim, etc., or if it's a better idea to go with themes such as Military, Racing, etc.?

Any thoughts on the matter folks?

I think the current forum setup looks pretty good to me. Can always add some other categories later if it's required, just thinking.. (other) entertainment, consoles perhaps?

Just a small suggestion; I noticed that the auto log-off (idle time) is pretty short? I always like to browse a little between or during making posts and a few times I had to log back in. Maybe it's possible to increase it a little.

I've actually asked Shilka (NT) about the Console Forum as I know he pretty much sticks to Consoles these days. I do however think that adding a Console Forum is a good idea so I may just do that this weekend regardless.

As for the login timeout, are you clicking the "Remember me?" option?

You mean the remember me function of the forum or for the browser? As for the forum, I don't see such an option, and as for the browser, I don't use any of the password functions there

The "Remember Me" feature on the forum. I think it may be hidden behind the ad at the top of the forum so I'll have to fix that.

I'll just add it to the list lol.

I couldn't find it either, so I just entered the wrong password to get to the seperate login screen which does have a remember me option.
