Free MMO Neverwinter

Eng and I have been dabbling in the world of Neverwinter. It's got some interesting features - for example, player made scenarios and quests that you can access via in-world bulletin boards.

It's an older engine, I guess the same as Perfect World, but it's free and so far it's been a fun game to run around in. The interface is simple but works.

We're only low level and I haven't done much in terms of reading up on the game, but still, I thought I'd post it on here

I've heard horror stories about the cash shop in the game.

I'm playing the game is pretty damm good on the dragon server. The cash shop sells the same type of items as GW2 its just they cost twice as much as GW2. Mounts, bags, keys and companions are the main types of items they sell. On the bright side its a free download no cost and no sub and its a quality game so far.

I read something that said it's 6 bucks to respec.

Yes it does cost to respect its a D&D game so you need to pay attention to your build. I'm going to write a review and post it here.

I play now and then have a cleric to 60 and 48 rouge on the dragon shard. I believe there are going to eventually merge all the shards. I will add you next time I log in.

Neverwinter is now available on steam. They also have merged the shards so there are no server restrictions. They just finished the module 2 upgrade so the game is starting to mature. For free game is pretty darn good.

If you all are interested: I am in a guild that is now farming into Tier 2 (Spellplague, Karrundax, and Frozen Heart).
We're getting close to starting Valindra's Tower, Malabog's Castle, and Castle Never (Endgame instances).

The Guild is "Order of The Mythic Dawn" (Elder Scrolls lore alert!) and they're good bunch.
It has Dutch, Swede, American, and Canadian members.
PS. There are several who PvP (Domination), and most of us run Gauntylgrym...

Same as tex in a nice guild we run tier 2 dungeons nightly need help let me know. Remember in this game the race class and ability setup in the character creation is key you can have borked char if you chose wrong. Read the shit when making your character.

All the classes are pretty good the ones that a wrecking shit right now are the Great Weapon Fighters and the Control Wizards.


The game is not to hard to level in.
