FT ARMA3 Community Gameday Sunday 24 March 2013

This Sunday at 1800 CET I'm hosting our first Fragtard Community Gameday.

The game chosen for this event is ARMA3 and the mission will be "Wasteland". Since "Wasteland" supports join-in-progress you can join whenever it suits you but I hope as many as possible will join around the start time to get a good game going.

The server will be up and running by 1800 CET.
Search for "Fragtard_ARMA3_Server". The password is "arma321".

Just to avoid confusion, the US is already on daylight savings while Europe isn't, so 6pm CET = 1pm EDT = 10am PDT

Europe switches to daylight savings on March 31, then it will be the usual 6 hour time difference with NYC.

EDIT: Not sure I can make this Sunday, at least not before 8pm or so.

I was running Wasteland on my home Server last night and found no settings to alter AI values so it is what it is.

I hope it works better when there's more people on though because I had no AI at all when playing it as LAN.

Do you think the universe can hold up to both of us being in the same server? The n00bness level will be off the scale, it might actually cause a quantum bi-polar shift :icon_eek:

I've come down with a fever - and it's rising. No go for me today, thanks to the icy Eastern wind that's dropping the temps here in Vienna below freezing. At the end of March this is not appreciated ...

It doesn't work as LAN unless you have more people on from what I understand. I had no AI in LAN either but yesterday I hosted and had a number of people on from here and it worked as normal.

The only issue I've found is that the latest version of Wasteland crashes my ArmA3 without even so much as an error message about 50% of the time. I don't know what it is but 1.05 is much more stable, at least on my Computer?
