Storytime: worst experience in elite thus far. I dunno what the hell was wrong with me.

Was doing some ratting with Mike and Coffin, when our belt dried up and we decided to move. About 30 min in I've already got 500k+ in bounties... Of course the good belt we found was on the dark side but whatever... not even five minutes in though another anaconda is called. I do my usual boost to get headed in that direction. I'm sure you can see where this is headed. Because I didn't... haha. Straight into an asteroid that I didn't see a single thing of until the last second (had my lights on, which allowed me to see the nice details of the asteroid that flattened me)

Man at this point i'm pretty upset but whatever. Unfortunately I spawn 10+ jumps away, as that was where I was last docked, so I have to make my way back... Takes about 15 minutes at the most.

Get back to join them, thankfully the belt is now lit. Right? Well that doesn't help when you're pulling a little P and not paying attention. Splat, straight into an asteroid not five minutes after I arrive. And guess what? Back to being 10 jumps away.

So that was my night in a nutshell.

I loved the silent moment right after it happened tho, and then 4 of us bursted into laughing.

The community event ended today and when we reached the final tier the prizes got bumped up with 2.5mill so i netted 17.5million for mission rewards and 18 million in warbonds

Now let the sucking up commence! I want a clipper and after that a Perdy Lance
