Quick, Jmart and I got in yesterday just to get an idea of how things work, and in a broad stroke, we're going to need to be patient..

First of all, jobs MUST be done in a public lobby. We'll get a head start on crates, but eventually everyone on the server will know where our crates are and attempt to destroy them. I guess one of the favorite griefs is to fly a jet into them. Anyways, just something to be aware of.

Secondly, disconnects. Quick, Joe and I were constantly disconnected and or shifted around between lobbies for no reason, forcing us to rejoin and reapply to the CEO. Also, we once we complete a job, it will dump us into different servers like it does after every job, even though these jobs happen inside the GTA Online instance, not a separate lobby like races or deathmatches. It is extremely frustrating, and I don't understand why Rockstar constantly feel the need to rearrange people (I'm guessing its always trying to group people by regions, but I'm really sick and tired of that racist mechanic. I wish it would just realize we are a crew and would override it, but it doesn't.)

Finally, I tried to launch a job twice yesterday (18k each) and no job launched... ever... A nice way to waste 36k, but whatever... illegitimately earned funds can't all be lost a legitimate way...


Don't get me wrong, its GTA and I'm sure we'll all have a good time. I think we all did yesterday! I just wanted to give you guys a heads up about what to expect today. Please be patient and just expect things not to work very smooth! Also, its the weekend, so I'd imagine the server traffic will have picked up!

Thanks for the heads up, I've bought a fresh litre of Honey JD so I'll be happy whatever's happening I agree with you about the disbanding though, that really does need to be sorted out as it's very annoying and just adds a roadblock where there doesn't need to be one eh.

I have a feeling the disconnects are not a game mechanic but something on the network side of GTA, i've noticed this before after one of the updates.

This time however the downtime after updating was so long that i think something in their infrastructure is/was broken.

On a sidenote, the downtime (Couple of seconds each time) of TS was caused by our National Internet Exchange.... AMS-IX.. everything running over that node had issues.

If one of you creates a "friend and crew only "multiplayer server starting from story mode and then invites the rest ( Like one does when doing Heists and the like and doesn't want to get interrupted by hackers , griefers and such ) , can you not do the CEO stuff that way ? or have I missed something?

Regardless, I shall be on the lookout for this when one of you starts streaming! If you are missing an extra person at any point I believe my GTA5 is all patched up and good to go, Promise not to bring my vespa

If there is we're with too much anyway, i wouldn't worry about that tho, we can take turns on the jobs and you don't have to be in a "Firm" to work together anyway.
It's all happening in a public lobby so we would still all be in there together.

I also like how the assistant is in the middle of a call, like "...hold on a sec, sis, my idiot boss and her handsy friends are, like, taking an f*cking picture with me, or something... you know, I don't really know. This limo was a beast, here we have Netjun manning the minigun, as you do. I later had to ditch this leaving Netjun firing at anything and everything that moved and dive off the dam past the hovering buzzard pictured above to pick up a crate. Standard.

Planning the next move. ZacSonic tries to impress us with the length of his barrel. Jmart doesn't give a monkeys - he just wants to get out and kill people. Shilka is wondering where the next drink is coming from. Duke is giving me a handjob under the table. It's so good my hat clips through my jacket.

There is no "i" in team. There was no "a" either it turned out...
