Hawken - Counterstrike and mech warrior have SEX!

This game is now in open beta, and its like having Counterstrike and mech warrior have SEX! Personally i like the game, its challenging and also rewarding to destroy an opponets mech with a tow missle, its not futuristic like some mech games, its more conventional with real life weapons in the game just on a big armored mech! The intentions of this post is to gather some interest and to have some of you give it a try and play with myself and a few others whom have tried it out. the website is http://www.playhawken.com/ its a free to play game and bunches of fun! Also note the game does feel semi polished for an open beta and im impressed with it, most games in alpha or beta are not well rounded at that point, this game feels balanced and really works well, also in game VOIP is amazing! Sounds just as good as Teamspeak

IF I enjoyed mech games/futuristic games this looks like it'd be a lot of fun. But I really hate futuristic games, and BF 2142 was way too far out for me, unfortunatly so is this.

Saying that though, watching the game play footage Id recommend it to others as a f2p game because it does look fun.

Yeah its a good game just doesnt have alot of features still and most things must be purchased.

I've read that while visually its inferior to MWO, the game play and mechanics are vastly superior. Will check it out.
