I was looking through app.ini in the iRacing folder and found that there are a couple of useful settings in there that you can't acces in-game:
Because I've heard some people have issues with wheels not being centered when pitting out. Not sure if this helps.
Very useful, 0 doesn't change any settings when you exit the pits, to avoid taking on unnecessary fuel or tires when coming into the pits for repairs.
How many decimals should be reported. I find when I'm busy driving I often only hear the last number. If the time was 1:48.372 that last number is a lot less meaningful than if the time was 1:48.4.
To give you more control over which area you want to see next to you when looking around.
Some of these might be adjustable in game but then I just don't remember them to be.
