I get this too sometimes. Actually, I get it on both my main desktop and laptop. Duke spent a lot of time trying to figure out what the issue is back in the summer as it seems to only affect a few of us.

I now copy and paste what I write into word so that if I get the error I can just paste it back, if you don't save it somewhere what you copied won't work.

Is the site returning anything at all such as a blank page, whitescreen, partial page load, etc.?

I also need the following info to even have a chance of determining said issues:

• Browser Used
• Browser Version
• url's of pages returning errors
• Date and time of error

The more info you can give me, the better chance I have of correcting the issue.

This was an issue with a plugin/addon that has since been disabled and deleted. It hopefully should not be an issue anymore.

There was also an issue with people not clicking "Remember Me" when logging in which means that if you take more than 10 minutes to make a post without a page refresh, you'll lose everything you type because the site considers you logged out.

It sounds like what both of you are reporting is a server hanging issue. If this is the case then it sounds like we may require a RAM upgrade.

This is why I require date and time info so I can check the Server Logs to see what kind of resources were required at that time of day.

I do know that this Server is running close to a dozen vBulletin Forums that likely all run overlapping, automated cron jobs. It could be the issues your both reporting are happening at a time that Server Resources are already being slightly over-taxed.

This is why date and time of errors is so critical.

I have a hard time posting. It freezes and then it has to recover from a error. I then have to start over and retype the post. The copy and paste function does not work when I get this error?
