Not too early to start this discussion a bit. I created a poll to see which car(s) we'd want to run, but it's mostly just for show, as I'm sure everyone will pick Audi. Right?

In reality, I'm willing to drive the Mercedes as everyone will probably want to drive that ungainly beast. We'll likely want something like a solid six man team... or 2 five man teams I think would be acceptable possibly. With 5-6 man teams you'd be looking at around 4-5 hours worth of driving.

The date- Saturday August 6th (9am eastern - the usual split)

I'm down for driving the AMG at Spa. Spa is special for AMG.

There is also a livery that goes with AMG for spa, called "Rote Sau", or the Red Pig...

The modern version of this livery seems to be on TP already .:)

I have a WIP for the original livery... if you guys want to make a special B2O livery for it, I can do that for you guys, or send over all my resource files.

I've always had a minimum of 4 I'm ok with. Of course I prefer 5 or 6 because of drop outs and/or alternates (for computer crashes or Internet issues) but that's not entirely realistic given how many regular Drivers we have around here.

I couldn't do Nord because we were down to 3 Drivers which is too few IMHO. It's not just about the Driving in these events, it's about the spotting and cheering on of your Teammates which means 26 hours at the PC; very difficult for me these days.

Plus Spa is a lot easier than Nord is, it shouldn't be nearly as exhausting. I was actually suffering hip pain from the long Practice Sessions at Nord; still no idea why?

There's no doubt that the Spa will be easier on the driver in every single way. Maybe not 1xs though. Hopefully we can get a team of 5-6.

I will do some laps in the Merc at Spa this week and if I can get it around the track without wanting to slash my wrists, I'll raise my hand for A COUPLE of stints. I can't commit myself to a whole day at the computer, but I can do a couple stints and spot another stint or two at most. If you don't want to schedule in drivers who have limited availabilty like this, no problem at all, I just don't want there to be any unrealistic expectation about availability. That being said, I could do my driving any time from about 7 or 8am PST until 10-11PM PST. Any earlier or later and I the car will be rekt.

Yeah I did a handful of laps last week before a disastrous LM race at Iowa and remembered why I stopped driving GT3 entirely. Have fun, boys!

Road Warrior has several team members unavailable for Spa and a couple of uncertains. Pretty sure we missed Spa last year, too.

If even one of those uncertains drop out then I (and maybe 1-2 others but I don't speak for anyone but myself) could be looking for a stint or two... whatever the 'fair share' rule requires (probably ~2 hours or something? depending on team size). Bryan told me yesterday he was ~50/50 for Spa but would let us know soon. If he has to drop out then I'll check back in on this thread.

We're not running the Mazda though Will so you're SOL. ;)

Next week's BSS race is at Spa so that will be a perfect testing week. Looks like we'll have a solid full team.

Some things have come up in the personal life and need to get some stuff taken care of first. Won't know for certain that'll I'll be able to run until next week.

I'll put you down for 12+ hours. Got it.

Hope all is well, including your toes.

lol I hope you're not serious because there's no way I'm driving that paint.

We already have an Endurance look which I'd much rather stay with.

Incidentally, no offence meant, it is a nice paint but it's not my taste.
