Totally kidding. I know you won't drive it and of course we need it to be a B2O livery. I think I saw you driving a newer B2O merc paint that featured a brighter red? Was I mistaken? I'm glad there's more color and light into it if that's the case. Need some screens.

lol I know but I have a tendency to come across the wrong way and I know it. I don't want to sound like the ass I know I sometimes do.

I was driving a brighter car but I haven't posted it yet because the red is a placeholder color. I'm aiming for a bright gradient fade from a dark medium yellow to red but I'm not sure if I can pull it off.

It's also using your Blancpain "Tack" Logo wrapped around B2O which fits nicely on the Merc.

I can post some WIP's but they are extremely rough at this point.

I wouldn't mind running some Spa laps in the SLS

I mean I have a good Spa setup for the Audi all set and ready to go but everyone seems insistent on this stupid front engined car.

And no problem Ken. But keep that red. Overall the paint is too dark, in my opinion and needs contrast. I love a red/black combo but it needs a bright red.

It is a very bright red, you can see it tonight. I'm not sold on the paint at all so maybe you can give me some pointers.

I'm certainly up for Practice tonight so I'll be on at my regular time, 8PM EST.

Yeah it's special. I've never ran it but I've always enjoyed it. It's an awesome design and it stands out. I'll make you a personalized one once I get through the design. There's a lot to line up and the Merc template isn't the easiest.

No it isn't. You think they would make it easier with each new car they add but it seems to be getting worse instead.

I will not be able to make tonight AND tomorrow night for the league race as I have things to do in the daytime that kind of require me to be awake , I don't want to miss the league race though so I will sit the practice tonight out.

Well the Audi template is pretty good honestly. There aren't many crazy vents like the Macca or the Merc. I like skinning the Audi. My only complaint is that for some reason they thought it was a good idea to NOT line up the left and right sides. For whatever reason, the right side (passenger side) of the car is moved forward like 25 pixels or so. So you can't simply invert your design and then move it up in place, you have to move it forward a bit too.

Also Ken when you make the skin for this paint, I'm not sure if you do this already, but can you for this paint and future B2O paints always include a proper number plate? (AKA Blancpain or IMSA plate)

Here's my Spa set. I like it and this its fast... the biggest issue right now is the double lefthander but with some adjustment to driving style, it can be taken just fine.

Honestly Ken, I've put a ton of testing into trying to gauge between the two setups and I've found this one to be more stable and a few tenths faster. I've loaded this one, driven 3 laps, pitted, changed setups and did it over multiple times though.

But everyone should have a go and see which they prefer. Might be my particular driving style in addition to weather factors. Who knows.

From the first post it looks like we have 4 drivers currently plus a tentative Davey. As you know, I like driving a lot so in my opinion a team of ~4 drivers would be ideal. But I fully understand that we can't (and shouldn't) shape the team to my preferences so we'll see what the eventual team will look like. I doubt we'll get enough participants to split it up into two teams.

From the 24 hour MoE Spa race I must say I really like the 2-3 hour stints (especially far into the race when it has quieted down a little). I get a little sore of course but you can get into a nice flow during multi-stints which got me consistent lap times.
