After trying to do a stint, I think you'll be better off without me . I just can't help overdriving the car, so there's a lot of off-tracks and I'm just not consistent enough.

I heard a lot of people complain about how slippery it still is even with 31 degrees track temperature. To me it feels much better than default - afternoon, but it's still easy to overdrive like you say.

Off-tracks are annoying though, without the danger of grass. I got 13x in my 29 laps while trying to stay nicely within the lines.

Don't fear. Shortly after this event, I'll be posting the next endurance event. There's still two more before the end of the year - Petit Le Mans and Le Mans itself. Keep an eye out!

That is nuts. The difference between this and default afternoon is night and day. This is extremely drivable and actually enjoyable, whereas default weather you are literally fighting the car lap after lap... Past Lap 3 in the stint, your tires already feel cooked, lap times fall off and you're just fighting survival by mid-stint... let alone actually racing other drivers.

My stint the other night, on the other hand, I could handily do low to mid 1:19s every single lap up until pit in. Even though my OPT was 2:18.4, my fast lap was 1:19.1 and the average lap (according to VRS) was 1:19.4.

Nice, I'm guessing my average lap time is similar to that. I was starting to struggle the last 5 laps or so, which is when I noticed the tires wearing down the most. Of course, you wouldn't need to do those 5 laps since you'd never make it that far with your fuel usage...

Guys I am so sorry but I'm still a full second off your times. I'm struggling to keep it clean and consistent at flat 20's and pushing for mid 19's always seems to result in a spin.

I'll be practicing tonight and will probably register for the race Friday just to run a few hours but I'm not sure how much more time I can knock off without killing the car?

Don't worry Duke, pace in the 20s is fine, the average of 2:20.0 in my fuel calculation fell out of the blue sky. And I think currently we're still pretty close to it with some of us running below it and some of us above. I'm guessing during the race we'll be above that number because of traffic and/or spins.

I just couldn't find the time to start monkeying around with adding SRO and all the other stuff so I just settled with adding Total and the Drivers Names, sorry.

There are two versions, one without the Blancpain Number Plates (no-vanity) and one with.

I think it's named correctly but please double check.

Total has replaced Deck on the rear bumper.

Kyle, before you load the paint can you please look at it locally and make sure it's ok? I forgot originally to add your Blancpain Number Plates and given it was getting late and I had to be up early today I just didn't have time to closely scrutinize placement.

I just checked it (just looked at the targa in PSD, not loaded in-game) and you used the wrong overlay. Kinda. That one is just the normal Blancpain overlay, which we can use if you want... but I sent you a link in a PM i think for the one they used in the actual race this year.

Not a big deal honestly, so if you don't want to fix it/ don't have time, oh well. but if you want authenticity we should use this one:

So far, after 2.5 hours, the Band of Others Racing Mercedes is up from as low as 25th to 14th place, at the hands of Noel Luneburg. He is midway through his third straight stint, preparing to hand the car over to Davey Rearendu.
