haha.

After 24 hours, being as low as 26th and high as 5th place, we finished a solid ninth! Great job to everyone involved. Honestly that's probably the best endurance split I've been in yet... and it was an only-GT3 race. Incredible patience from all drivers... the start was extremely tame and I believe after 30 minutes, only 1-2 cars were in the pits. Not only that though, the competition was very fierce and the top 20 were all relatively close.

Great job!

I watched part of the stream and was impressed with the quality of driving and morale on display. As stated before, quality finish in a quality field. Looking forward to the remaining endurance races this season. Good job, Gents!!

lol I'm still trying to catch up on sleep. As of my final stint I'd only had 1 hour sleep in me and took another couple of hours sleep as Noel was on his final stints.

I feel like a complete Zombie today

Great job guys, it was terrific driving with you all. Comms were a lot of fun as always and you guys were killing it, amazing driving!

Also thanks to the guys that dropped by and helped keep both Twitch and TS interesting. It really makes racing something like this that much more satisfying when you know you have people out there rooting for you to do well.

Thanks all, amazing Endurance experience.

...except for the 1.3'ish drop in SR, fuck you Spa, fuck you all the way!!!

Yep, great race. I never realistically expect to finish a 24-hour like this, with a decent car. There is after all so much that can happen over 595 laps. Especially if I take as example the Friday split in which the racing around me was horrible.
All of us drove well and I think we were lucky with the attitude of the other drivers in our split.

The start was certainly a lot of fun to do, although a bit scary. A lot of slower cars got past us when I was "stuck" behind an Audi, but in the end we got past all of those and more so I can't complain.

And thanks Kyle and Davey for driving the Mercedes :).

As I've said countless times, I think endurance racing with you guys is probably some of the most fun in gaming I've ever had. Can't really find much else that compares to it, the challenge, camaraderie, and perseverance required is something special.

Can't wait for the next one (Petit Le Mans next month)... I'm preparing a commemorative graphic for our efforts.

--still trying to get ahold of the replay from people. I've PM'd at least 3 teams already to see what they have. No luck yet.--

Great comments Kyle, I couldn't agree more.

I saved pretty much everything after my stint so I'll upload it to the server tonight.

I have some of the replay, but not the first part of the race. In the highlight sheet I've marked which portion of the replay I have.

That was one of the better endurance races I've had. Really great job team. I wasn't too comfortable with the track/ car combo as I usually feel but did my best to keep the car in one piece (Sorry bout the scrunched hood) and to keep a good position.

Teamspeak that day was a blast, the jokes, the burns, the laughs always an excellent time with B2O.

Very proud of the team for all of the hard work and long hours that it takes to prepare for these events and it really showed off this time.

Thanks @Duke for the paint scheme, came out awesome per usual. And another big thanks to @Noodleguitar and @Daunt for the amount of hours in test and tune preparing the setup. You guys rule!

Thank you Duke.

After sending out well over 10 PMs to different drivers and teams, I've managed to get it luckily. Now begins the enormous task of making the video itself :)

Made quite a bit easier by everyone helping keep track of the highlights in that sheet, so thanks everyone.

Scrunched hood? You basically sucked the Himalayas down through the earth and re-erected them on the front of our car!

Actually, I was impressed how you managed to avoid a massive somersault off the wall while taking out the next 6 cars behind us, and instead scraped it a bit and continued :D.

Tried to upload some of my replay sections but it's failing. One of them is 50 MB and is too large to upload, shall I put that one on Google Drive?

One of them succeeded, and the other ones got a security error when they finished uploading:
"Security error occurred. Please press back, refresh the page, and try again. "

Finally done!! So many hours of work. Thanks everyone!

Band of Others Racing team, comprised of Noel Luneburg, Davey Riendeau, Kyle Breen-Bondie (myself) and Ken Lindberg, take on the 24h of Spa, a presitous event of a large GT3 grid.

We start 21st in the second split thanks to Noel's qualify lap. Strap in and enjoy the highlights and lowlights of Band of Others Racing, and the laughs and tear to be had along the way.

Congrats to everyone involved in the race - it was an incredible split with some pretty clean racing overall. Especially congrats to the winners of our split, Vendaval SimRacing.

Thank you to:
I put many many hours into creating this highlight video, probably well over 12 hours total. Thanks to Noel for compiling / recording the sound clips, which were gathered from Ken's stream, which was live for the entirety of the race. Link for his stream is below. Thanks to the team for keeping tabs of all highlights during the race, which made it easy to go back and record everything needed. It involved keeping a running spreadsheet and marking everything as it happened. Last, thanks to Nils Sentkowski of Vendaval Simracing for the first half of the replay after Ken lost it, due to computer issues.

Great job guys in the event and awesome video recap Kyle/Noel.

Really fun to relive those moments.

Awesome, nice camera work Kyle! And the sound and video is very well synced together.

That duck sound was awesome, I'm laughing my ass off every time I hear it :D.
