ok, so i just did a double stint on a track realistic to the last hours of le mans:
90% track usage and default weather (55% humidity and 26C air).
it felt a bit slower than usual probably because of the 90% track usage, but i don't know what any of these settings are supposed to do to my lap times
the one thing i wanted to bring to everyone's attention is my fuel problems.
i finished my first stint (13 laps) with 0.0 liters of fuel left when i reached my pitbox. yes, you read that right... i had to hit the clutch and let the car coast into the pitstall. on my second stint i pitted in on lap 12 because i had 6 liters left at pit-entry so i wasn't going to make lap 13 with that fuel.
maybe it was my driving, maybe it was the air temperature (i read somewhere it affects your fuel consumption) but is this normal? because according to our fuel scheme, i am not supposed to use this much fuel. so is it bad that i use slightly more?
if the calculations are really supposed to be this precise. maybe it would be best to run some scheme with a little less risk during the race.
-edit: i just read our fuel scheme again and it is really precise. for example pitstop #9 happens at 0.1 liters left in the tank. is it possible to plan this much forward for fuel?
