6 Hours of the Glen - Fuel Chart

Above is a fuel chart using my predicted pace. But a little slower or faster probably doesn't influence it a lot. It looks like 7 stints fits the race nicely. I'm planning to go the distributed fuel way, leaving a few Litres out of the tank each stop.

Keep in mind that the fuel calculations don't take into account driver swap penalties, which will increase your pit stop by 6 seconds when filling up the tank.

Oh yeah, I noticed in the practice session that one of the 'B2O ENDURANCE' teams had all caps in the name and the other one didn't I believe.

Nice job on the chart @Noodleguitar . I'm editing that into the OP. I thought for a minute based on stint length a splash and go would be necessary but you're right, it does look like a good fit.

One thing I never tested, stupidly, is how long a pit stop is. I must've assumed it's the same as a GT3 but I'm hearing it's not. How long are stops? Longer than 30 seconds where a driver change doesn't matter?

I was under the impression there was a time penalty for Driver change, is this not the case?

24.2 Seconds to fuel a full tank. 15.5 seconds for tires. Done at the same time.
30 Seconds if you do a driver change.

Good luck (in 4 hours) in the big one. Not sure if I'll make the race or not, Michael impromptu-registered for tonight's race and so Bryan and I jumped in to help. After dealing with plebs all night, my nerves are pretty shot and my presence on track tomorrow hinges on my ability / inability to rest. If I'm not driving then I'll try to come make some dumb comments on twitch.

Best of luck B2O in today's race. Patience is going to be a huge key to success here. Remember other races are going on and to use your heads. As some of us saw last night there will be idiots and lots of them so expect dodgy moves and be careful. Most important have fun, that's why we do this.

After four hours, and four stops - B2O Yellow (Noel) is in second, 8 seconds out from 1st. He was leading 20 laps before by a 2-lap margin almost when a spinning Mercedes in the busstop gave him a meatball.

B2O Red currently sits 4th with Ken behind the wheel, out of first by 1:18.

B2O Blue with Chris driving is in 7th, 2 laps down after a pit issue left him without fuel.

Update... Noel is back in the lead.

B2O red with ken still at the wheel suffered an incredibly stupid track rejoin which gave us 8 minutes of required repairs. From 4th, we dropped to 11th. Since, we've climbed back up to 9th.

B2O Blue is sitting nicely in 5th.
