This Friday night the Blancpain Sprint Series makes its way to sunny Victoria Australia to race the quick and challenging Phillip Island Circuit.

Phillip Island is a surprisingly difficult track to pass at if you're running similar pace so it will be about who can setup best for corner exit tonight.

Practice Session starts at 7:30 PM EST spanning 1 hour and 40 minutes finishing off with a 20 minute, inverse grid, Qualify Race.

Main Race starts at approx 9:45 PM EST with 10 minute warmup and 50 minute Race.

Grid positions carry over from Qualify Race Results.

A mandatory Pit Stop is required within a narrow 5 minute Pit Window at the 25 - 30 minute mark to take on tires only.

Hi guys,

Hey Anthony Carbone here, i joined up for the league but had to run into NYC for an emergency business dinner last night. Im looking forward to running with everyone.

A little bit about me , love racing, hockey , porsches. I race an SCCA SRF Gen 3 in real live.

One question i have is can you setup your pitstop ahead of time to just take on tires, i have never done a race with a pit stop.

Looking forward to running with everyone.

Thanks

Hey anthony. Welcome and good to have you with us.

Yes when you are gridded up, waiting for the race to start, you can uncheck your fuel (and good idea to uncheck your fast repair too). This you can do without even leaving your grid spot before the pace lap. Just keep tires checked and your set.

Welcome Anthony.

Pit macros are also very useful, you can bind them to Alt 1-5 in the options and you can fully setup your pit stop with them.

For our race you could use:
#clear #lf #rf #lr #rr #ws

That will clear all options first, then check tires with the pressures from your setup and activate a windscreen tear-off.

I've updated the standings from the prior week (philip island). It appears that we did not run this past friday.

Don't think you made a thread for the league race so I'm just using this one to let everyone know it's updated.

So now since we're not running COTA, we can do Long Beach, right?

Thanks for updating it Kyle, much appreciated.

The numbers were too low to run League Friday night but we were fully expecting this given there were 5 of us running in the 12hr of Bathurst Saturday.

Instead we took that time to practice more for the event.
