iRacing Livery Sponsors

When skinning vehicles for Band of Others, this is always one of the areas that consumes a lot of time as I've mostly no idea of what real-world sponsors are supposed to be on these vehicles year on year?

To dumb the issue down, for GT World Challenge (GT3 spec racing), Pirelli is the tire partnership but for IMSA, I believe it's always Michelin.

When I make a new skin I'd love this to be as accurate as possible so I view hundreds of images over multiple search strings which takes many hours. The 2027 Band of Others BMW M4 GT3 is based on many images from all Teams in GT World Challenge Europe, mostly settling on Team WRT. It took time to come up with the BMW Motorsport sponsor as I want the largest image (1000 px image if I can get it, preferably vector but often settle for transparent background .png) as they scale the cleanest and allow for layering of both black and white versions.

Editing the BMW Motorsport made sense as Team WRT (for example) only race BMW so this one sponsor can cover all BMW's if I so desire.

Currently I have seperate folders for B2O such as B2O Branding and B2O Sponsors (community Focused such as Fanatec, Logitech G, Track IR, Socials). I also have a folder specific to Drivers and have you all included so I can just enable/disable Driver names and manipulate placement as needed.

These are a Godsend and what I hope to do for all branding going forward.

...but I need your help as my knowledge and time is very limited.

An example of what I left off the BMW M4 GT3 are sponsors such as Rowe, brembo, H&R, Turner, Liquid Moly, and a whole host of others.

I'd love these identified under GT3 or IMSA and included in seperate folders on every livery going forward, it makes skinning so much quicker and easier.

Laslty, equipment used in the Community, are there any updates on what you want to see on the car? Here I'm also a bit weak as Fanatec is now Corsair. Having said that, I watch GT World Challenge Europe and know many drivers are sporting Fanatec Wheels like Valentino Rossi so I can't see adding Corsair to the liveries but I just don't know for sure?

Double lastly, I can save these files on there own and make them publicly available as well should the B2O Community require them.

Any input deeply appreciated.

* Technically including this logo violates the iRacing TOS due to promoting another studio's racing game within the iRacing sim. I have yet to see this rule enforced, given a large number of paints at the 24 Hours of Spa ran this logo on their paint. I think it might be different in a broadcast, for-profit, or other official/unofficial race series, or as a full sponsor of the car, and not a "contingency" roll. Use at your own discretion.

**The #46 WRT BMW runs without the series number boards, but has the "Rossi-style" #46 with the standard ROWE Motor Oil logo below it. It appears you're allowed to make alterations to the standard series logos, for a price, and depending on the event. For instance, the Gulf 12 Hours allows you to run a custom windshield banner for €1500.

I've created a Google Drive as a possible resource for compiling, and sharing, logos as we find them.

It needs to be stated that I'm not sure of the legalities, or moral issues, with this system. All logos should be easily, and freely, available on the internet (at least when they were found), unless created (or, at least, edited) by the person sharing the file. This folder should only be for personal use.

To answer your Fanatec question, Corsair purchased the Fanatec brand, but I haven't seen any sign of Corsair releasing "Corsair"-branded wheels, or closing the Fanatec brand.

Corsair just announced today that they have also purchased the "Trak Racer" brand...
Trak Racer joins CORSAIR’s portfolio of brands as a complement to Fanatec, the leading name in sim racing hardware.
I don't consider Corsair, Fanatec, or Trak Racer to be the leading name in anything - nor do I believe them to be the absolute worst - but that's obviously just my opinion, and irrelevant... do your own research.

My Personal Hardware/Software includes:
Fanatec
DSD Button Boxes
DOF Reality
Garage61
VRS
