This week the Band of Others Blancpain Sprint Series visits Suzuka International Racing Course located in Ino, Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, Japan.

Much like all other Japanese tracks, the surface is only grippy when shards of sheet metal, plastic and carbon are embedded in it.

This week we're schedules to run the Grand Prix Course however it may be wise to consider the smaller and far more entertaining East Course depending on Driver turnout.

Hope to see you all there!

...

Whenever possible the B2O Blancpain League attempts to follow the official iRacing series schedule to allow an easy transition from the official series into our league. However, for the remainder of the season, a poll will be included in these posts asking for your opinion on the track for each round for two reasons;
  1. We missed out on two rounds earlier in the season, Phillip Island and Interlagos, due to the holidays. Because of the popularity of the tracks skipped, we discussed adding them in at a later date, and so each week the option will be given to the community.
  2. Due to the small size of the league, we offer the opportunity to run a smaller configuration of the track (when availible) to try to keep the pack as close as possible and prevent races from turning into 20/50 minute hot lap sessions. This has created some good results in the past, around some of iRacing's less used configurations.
These options will always be provided to the community, but the option to run the official iRacing BSS track of that week will always be the top/default setting unless it is decided
otherwise on this thread!.

I voted other so West without the chicane please! this is a fun config that works well with a small field.
2 votes so far for East! are you chewing glass right now as well ? :D ( just kidding but it's easy to get the two mixed up, east is just the straight and the esses, west (( and west chicane)) takes in 130 R the degna curves , the cross over and the hairpin)

I'm pretty sure we've raced the East before and it a fun config, that's why I added it.

The results of each race will be on the League page in IRacing. You need to dl them from there and then upload to Danlisa.

If you can wait until Thursday as I have that day off and I can talk you through it. There are some tricks to get it to work properly that it took me a while to figure out.
