lol I saved it 3 bl00dy times, I swear. I'll have to check my streams because I'm sure there's plenty of video evidence.

With some help from Claude Belval, I was able to get a really really solid setup for the Audi. I'm extremely happy with it and can't wait to race it. So far it's worked wonders at the Glen and Spa.

I'll try yours tomorrow, but Claude's one from forum is little too bouncy and understeery at high speed for me. Might be just me though. Still trying to figure out the car.

I barely changed anything to Claude's so it's likely you'll find it the same. I think the car will naturally be that way (understeer at high speed) so that will probably be real tough to dial out without making it extremely difficult to control.

I'm trying to dial out the bounciness though, and probably didn't do a good job so if you could help with that, that would be great. It's improved from the baseline but could be even better.

I don't know much about shocks, even less with spring rates, so not sure if I'll even be able to do anything, but I'll try.

Good setup Chris. My opt was mid to low 2:00 but man I can't string a series of laps together to save my life. I know Sebring is pretty bumpy but in the Audi I might as well be playing dirt at Finland. I'll be working on dialing as much bumpiness as possible.

Well keep me posted! I'd love to see any improvements you might make, I could use all the help I can get at Sebring

OK Chris. I tested in the same session (to keep same weather througout) yours, a version of yours that i messed with to help with curb control and a bit better downforce, and a setup someone posted on the forum ( http://members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/3469447.page#9646016 ) and my version of yours was fastest. Not by a lot over his setup, but even then, it felt more stable than his).

Attached setup. I may mess with the downforce a bit more, remove a bit more wang. But I'm pretty happy with it. Still not as easy to drive as the Merc will be around here, and it's far from safe, but it's good I think.

EDIT: Also the fuel is close but isn't correct. It's 46% for BSS so I'll need to adjust that. Should be 55.2 L starting fuel.

Nice. Actually I'm working on something that will have this sort of workflow to it but better and more user friendly. Thanks dino.

There's no such thing as stupid question :) but as far as I know, no. Depending on car configuration/construction, setup will be different accordingly (BMW damper values are negative, etc), so this only tells you what to do depending on current car behaviour. Example: you have understeer in highspeed corner, so you reduce front ride height to have more weight and downforce on the fronts.

Here are two C-Spec setups.
V6 is a bit conservative and tends to understeer.
V7 is a bit more tail happy, and slippery on the out lap, but settles down after a while and eliminates the understeer.

The setups were created with the help of Todd Fisette, who is the crew chief and shock specialist for the Wheeler team. The C7 that we have in iRacing, is the car he built!

Here is the latest setup. This is the same setup we raced on Monday, but with front tire pressures to 21 even. Davey and I tested this tonight during an IMSA race, and the pressures are 26 even all around with relatively even wear on inside and middle.

Alright, thanks. I really like the setup so far. I was able to get into the 45s by lowering the wing to 11.65 but Davey started sliding with that setting, so we're probably better off racing with 14.xx or close to it.
